Let's hope your wrong SB because it would be galling to see Ackland get a free ride because he hasn't been injured.

Ackland is prime example of why we need to have perfomance based contracts.

No,

Ackland is given the one last chance....

Aisake is promoted and plays in Mel..next week giving his folks time to fly out for Adel at the TD.

And just to ensure he stays in....ask Ackland to to give him a shove in the changerooms b4 the Adelaide game to "fire himself up" a la Blake last year....that should ensure Ackland is placed on the LTI

Not just the folks, Ogie and I are on the first flight out if he getsthe nod

You've got a place to stay if you do Beano ol' mate!

Aisake can more than look after himself. Trouble is that he is much more of a hot head than Setanta - he has already been suspended a couple of times for taking matters into his own hands with the Ants.

Great rodent .Thats what we need. Not some pissweak effort from Ackland. He should have been promoted and played but our selectors are just as pissweak at taking risks at the selection table.

Sure let's whack a few blokes in the face, that'll learn 'em. :garthp:

Hard, but fair should be the team motto. The problem is the hits take a lot of energy out of you, and if you're smacking up against bigger, more mature bodies, the clashes will generally be taking more out of you than the intended target.

Then there's landing the hits correctly, and when they're warranted...

I really hope Sake get's his opportunity very soon. He won't disappoint and I think it will be the shot in the arm he needs. Remembering that his contract expires at year end and being in a foreign country it will be a big confidence booster for him to get a few games under his belt and get a new (senior) contract.

The O'hAilpin's are some the nicest guys you'll ever meet. As a birthday present, my brother was recently taken into the rooms after training by the boys and introduced to a bunch of the players as well as given a signed jumper. All because Sean Og made a call to Setanta.

And if we like Setanta on the field, wait untill Aisake hits the paddock. From Sean Og's himself, and I quote... "Out of all the Ó hAilpín brothers, Aisake is by far the most athletic."

How excited does that make you!

This week is as good as any to bring the young fella in - the Dogs have one of the most impotent ruck divisions currently in the AFL.

Having the two Irish in the team will make snipers like Brodie Holland and Didak sit up and take notice.

Got to feel for Cloke, he has been good for us and tries his guts out.

Yep, won me over. Sure he's got a few limitations but he gave us some much needed grunt around the stoppages that Ackland sadly has yet to deliver.
