Whilst I agree with the sentiments expressed, does this mean we get our money paid to him for season 2005 refunded, in that he was negligent in his coaching duties, for having undertaken tactics that so obviously undermine the development of our playing list?
"“We want to take the game on, we want to be bold, we want to be attacking, we want to play one-on-one.
I don’t know what the opposition want to do"You said it Denis
Yeah, rightio - no coach knows exactly what the opposition coach is going to do... if any coach from any team knew what the opposition plan was they would, no matter what - stand a 90% chance of winning the match...
Good to hear we are not resorting to the negative style of football that is ruining the game, a similar style to that we played last year. Positive football wins games, shootout or not - I'd rather a 4 all match (win or loss), than a nil all draw...
Besides that, attacking football builds confidence - give players leeway to be creative and play without the constraints of strict possession football.
Carrots 50th, Stevens back at the club (hopefully having a word the team to fire them up)... you never know... fingers crossed we won't be hearing any negative, vitriolic crap we usually hear after a match next week...
Then again...
