actually chyna has a point. Fev does consistently miss those goals he should get and being a young team it does hurt us. To me those bread and butter shots are the ones he must start kicking.

Personally I preferred a sheaf of "Form Fours" and an open cheque book, but unfortunately we dont live there anymore. You have to adapt and evolve otherwise you will go the way of Neanderthal Man.

However some scientists still believe there are pockets of Neanderthal genes in the Homo Sapien gene pool.

that is just another example of the deity worship Fev gets around here. 200 goals? - because teams wont double and triple team Fev or drop someone in front of him? Or perhaps because the eagles will kick it to him every forward 50entry much like we do but they have better skills? Or do you expect Fev to kick 200 goals because he is that good. If you really think that then trade Fev to WC at the end of this season (irrespective of what they offer). I mean why should we deny the greatest player in the history of the game (100+yrs) the opportunity to reach his potential? - 200 goals would make him at least 30% better than coleman, dunstall, lockett, ablett, etc. Assuming he is consistent, thats a lazy 9 goals/game (7.7 if you include 4 finals). He'd smash every goal kicking record out there. What footy fan dosent want to see that? Trade him quick

Two simple factors, which are pure facts by the way

1- The number of Times, the eagles get the ball into their 50 &

2- The Quality of the Delivery they posses with their top Midfield....

Fevola is no God that's worth worshipping, but one thing you have failed to see is that he is kicking 80+ goals a year from the worst ever midfield group in the competition who at times cant even pin point a 20 m pass to him.... The delivery into our forward line has always been poor, and fev had to live with that......

this year, we are getting enough balls in there, but still lack the accuracy and precision to hurt the opposition.....

Each club were given a limited number of these each year by the VFL and they were allowed to sign up players on them. When you used them up you could actually buy some off other clubs - so they were a tradeable commodity.

Stephen Kernahan, Craig Bradley, Peter Motley and John Dorotich I think were the last players to be signed up by Carlton on the Form Four system, but I could be wrong on that one.

Agro everyone is on the same playing field now. WCE, Sydney, Port didn't need to bottom out for 6 years to win premierships and remain finalist teams for years. We now have 6 top 10 picks and 11 in the top 20. If we can't work with that, we are in trouble. We also have an underperforming club with room in our salary cap to offer big bucks to attrack a nice trade. But who would want to come to a losing club? There's more than one way to skin a cat. Picks = Premiership... where's the proof! It's very narrow minded.
