flint would be close for selection this week i would have thought, but who would you drop?

i'd drop houla for flint but that's just me.

Who would you drop? Try this...

Russell - Continues to give absolutely nothing while allowing his man to tear us apart. He does n ot go in hard enough in a contest or makes stupid decisions that allows his man to run off him too easily. Back to the twos for you.

Eddie - Out with Hammy but could almost of needed a run in the Ants anyway.

Young - Opposition leavfe him alone because they know he can't do any real damage

Houla - Maybe not dropping him, but certainly needs to be moved OUT OF DEFENCE. Doesn't know how to play the position at all.

Saddington - Will be injured anyway, but is not capable when we have such a young group.

So, there's a few spots for Flint that just came available  .

Very unfair on Russell. He's committment to the ground contest has been very good and his decision making and use of the pill improving with every game. Why would you drop a first round pick when he is finally developing and showing improvements?

I don't really care what draft pick he was. If he can't gather the ball, if he can't stick to his man, if he can't take a mark or kick to advantage then he's a weak link in the chain. Like Kennedy he must go back for 3-4 weeks to try to gather some confidence.

It's about time we came to the conclusion that #9 was way too high for this kid. He was more of a 3rd rounder - simple as that. We stuffed up big time and now need to give someone like Benjiman or Hartlett a go.

He may come good, but atm he is not pulling his weight. I'm desperate to see him do something positive but he just doesn't seem capable. He's 6'2" and 85Kg so size is not an issue any more.

I rated this guy too, I think I said something like him being one of the most marketable players on our list in years to come at one stage

I dont think that I have ever agreed with you.

Russell has'nt been that bad...he is learning the grade and needs more time in the seniors to fulfill his potential.

What Russell needs is a good coach who plays him on the HF line.

Russell is too light to tag and to fresh to be in the midfield.

anyway....sorry.

The amount of times we are burnt on the rebound is a joke and at times is actually cruel on our defence

Agree on this; I feel too many players run forward of the ball when we're in possession, and fail to concentrate on what they need to do once the ball is out of their area.

But it's one issue amongst many. We need better micro-management of our game plan.
