3) the day when Justin Davies booted 3 goals in a qtr and he was a hero for a few weeks. The best part was after the game where my Dad, sister and I started saying DAVIES!! BOO! on the way back to the car juuuust loud enough for the collingwood fans in front of us to hear.

2)The last game at optus oval, that was the game where every single Carlton fan was united for a full 2 and a half hours. i can remember the whole ground proudly singing the Carlton theme song after the game. Many tears were shed and i can remember the last play where we were 3 goals down and stevens was running along the wing. The siren went and every players heart broke as Stevens slammed the ball into the ground.

1) Has to be the Carlton Essendon* round three clash of this year the best comeback i have ever seen. Fevola was unstoppable and i couldnt speak for a week.

Okay just because you have curriculum day tomorrow doesn't mean you can stay up all night - off to bed my friend.

Please tell me that Agro jnr beats up Demetriou's kids in the schoolyard at lunchtime?

The image just wouldn't be complete otherwise..

2 reasons why that would never work:
1) Dad would never send me to a school of which Demitriou was associated with.
2) Demitriou probaly has hired goons protecting his kids from Carlton supporters.

So many wonderful memories, and naturally the 87 and 95 GFs would be the standouts. But here are my 3 favourite non-GF moments.

1) 99 Prelim final. 'Nuff said.
2) Smashing Melbourne by 100+ points in 2000. Beautiful football to watch, and more than a few Bomber fans shitting their pants afterwards.
3) Braddles' 350th

This is a great thread so tough to choose. So many great games. But for me the wins that stand out have always been the one's over Essendon* and Collingwood because these are the only one's that stand the test of time.
So out of these to pick 3 would have to be these:

1) 99 Prelim: The contrasting image of ecstacy on blue supporter faces and utter devastation on scum faces was permanently entrenched in my mind.

2) 79 grand final: for obvious reasons just the tension in the last qtr, jezza going off late, Harmes etc...but for me it was this priceless moment. I was only 11 yrs old and sitting with an uncle of mine who's english was shaky at best. Sitting in the southern stand Ground level and in those days standing room was at the back of these seats and was fenced off. When Jezza was being carried off late in the game this filthy sl_t collingwood supporter behind the fencing started mouthing off at Jezza every filthy word you could think of and she just went on and on.

I could feel my uncle's blood boil. My uncle was the size of a suma wrestler by the way. Surely he couldnt rip the fence apart and belt her. I mean she was a woman although there is a major question mark over my use of the word woman here. Lets just say she was a typical toothless dirty filthy little collingwood scrubber. So my unlce gets up turns around and yells in her face... "shutta u _ucking mout u bitch!!" and digs deep into his throat and pulls out what was to be the biggest and greenest gorby you could ever see and spits it straight into her left eye.

And the image of that gorby dangling from her eye as she went ballistic and tried to climb the fence in vain and my uncle calmly sitting back down next to me patting me on my leg with a cheeky smile and watching the magical end to that last qtr made me realise after that day how much I love Carlton and just how much I will always despise Collingwood. I loved every minute of it...

3) I'll just group all of the games where we have beaten the scum and the filth by less than a kick. Too many to mention in detail but all unforgettable moments in this great club's history.

Another one of my all time fav's is Braddles 300th.

I was working at waverly park as an on field guard and couldn't believe my luck when i found out he would be playing his 300th at waverly.

The game ended with Braddles being chaired off and there's little old me walking off the field with the players!

What made it even more special was i had Braddles number on the back of my gurnsey as a young fella.

I'll never forget that moment, and never lose that tape
