- Jordan Russell backed into a pack to make an effective spoil in our D50.

Cons:
- His opponent, Harvey, bludged at the back of the pack and kicked a goal.

Newsflash...only one gun in our team..that is Fev. The best of the rest are average footballers at this level!!!

Bit harsh there mate.. we have the core of a new elite grop but shit our middle level players (expereience wise) are very ordinary. You put our new young guys into a side like West Coast, Sydney and then it would be different. We have too many older passengers.

Beat the Kangaroos at Carrara in the NAB Cup, lose in the real season. Beat the Lions at TD in the NAB Cup, lose to the same time in the real season.

The coach isnt the only problem, its the players too.

Pros:

We have the best full forward in the league.

Cons:

- We give away the most dumb free kicks in the league.
- We have the most passengers in the league.
- We have the worst skill rate in the league.
- We have the worst defence in the league.
- We have the worst taggers in the league.
- We have the worst Coach in the league.
- We have the worst fitness levels in the league.

I am sick to death of this shit i watch every week. Someone breath new life into our kids, even Gibbs looks like shit now, has Pagan told him he can't kick it until his second season? Why play the turnover king in Bentick? Yes he tackles hard, but that is it. Why put Lance to defence when we are on a run in the first quarter? Why make so many changes to the defensive match ups in the first half? What happened to a settled back 6?

And the losses keep coming.......

PROS

1) Fisher - many 1st half goals were kicked because of his contested marks on the wing. Has improved kicking

2) Carrazo - can;t deny that he gets a lot of it

3) Lance - played well

4) Fev is a superhero - kicks goals when he can't walk

CONS

1) Houla - he is an important rebound player but his opponent kills us too often. Always 5 metres off his man. Wirrpunda, Didack, tonight etc....

The rest of the cons are related to development of our kids by PAGAN

2) Development of Gibbs - Recruited as a once in a generation midfielder, we stick him in the back pocket week after week against fast players. There was one in the last quarter he would've marked last year - but now he punches, and they get a goal. Well done Pagan you tool. FREE GIBBS

3) Development of Walker - Started the season beautifully, he was a PRO in the 1st 3 rounds. Now we stick him on Aaron Edwards in quarter 1. Another player killed by Pagan's "development in the back pocket" theory.

4) Development of Russel - chased Harvey's bum around all night, not gonna learn like that

5) Development of Murphy - is getting caned by taggers, mostly because of Stevens' absence. We can;t find a way to hide him

Good footballers are coming to this club and getting worse!!!!!!!!! It's terrible.

Special mentions - Crosisca, for getting every backline matchup wrong at the start of the game. Ross young - PLAY A KID. This guy's ain't the future of Carlton

Cons:

- Our defence, well not so much the back 6 but more the style of play that we leak so many goals!!!! Really frustrating and i guess i'm torn between a more defensive style of play and what we are playing now which at least results in a decent score!

On FA Cup night i can only think that the Carlton of '97 onwards reminds me of West Ham - we are battlers at best and will be for a long long long time!!!! (no offence Hammers fans!!)

Ordinary palyers can get a kick at WC mate, eg Selwood, Armstrong, Rosa. Doesn't say a lot pal. Fact is players like Murph and Gibbs wont have the opportunity to develop like good kids at other clubs, therefore wont fulfil their potential. You can argue mate, but you will be wonrg. We will never climb the mountain again!!!

There is a clear message from this forum - our coaching stinks! Even Brittain also mentioned about getting Gibbs into the play more.

The Walker story is indeed a sad one...........from a distance it seems we are deliberately destroying his confidence by playing him in roles that are just not him.....not just Pagan, I have no confidence in the whole coaching staff - in particular DP and TL.

What TL brings to this club i have no idea!!!! We have the worst tackling technique in the comp - bar none!! Can someone enlighten me as to what value TL brings to this team????!!! It kills me to see Bradley on the outer during the midfield 'coaching' rants by TL at 1/4 and 3/4 time. We have to fix this area asap!!!!!!!!!

PROS: Most of the team played very well.

CONS: I think Houlihan would be well in front in the 'Reverse Coleman' this year.
