I think he'll get fined.

Yep, fined for certain.

AFL Xmas party just went from a sausage sizzle to caviar and crayfish.

Fev certainly revved them up, Didak got one in Fev's head, but he got away with the one on Scottland last year, so his love tap (ala gehrig) won't get touched.

The sooner the AFL realise we enjoy that (no real punches) the better.

Shite, we actally got an exciting game and a bit of entertainment at half time- how about that...

Atleast someone showed a bit of balls to do something. Fev responded the best after that Melee and kicked 2.2. Not our fault we were outcoached in the 2nd half.
FEV is no FAILURE MATE!

Only part of the game I saw via the highlights and I loved watching it.

Fev right in amongst it as usual. I think this is the third one from the last three outings, yeah?

I reckon Fev did what wasnt done last week... go in and throw his weight around to let the opposition know that our kids arent to be bashed ...

Loved it, especially Rocca collecting Josh Fraser.

About time we stood up and once again it was Fev leading the way. Also was pleased to see the reaction of the team to when Thomas put Murphy down late - the boys were in quickly to remonstrate.

We still need some enforcers through the middle of the ground though.

So why did he go to Didak then?

I'm all for starting the odd "strategic" fracas in order to get the team fired up, but when you're 4 goals up in an even sort of game, what Fev did only served Collingwood, not Carlton.

I sat there rapt that he did what he did because we needed a rocket and Fev got the juices flowing just nicely.

Brilliant full forward - dumb player in general.

How many fights does he start...and how many games has Carlton won after them?

It's all good and well to raise the energy of the battle, but when you don't have the team to back it up, it's purely window-dressing for the fans to get excited about and poor leadership in general.

More window dressing.

Where were they all when an 18 year old knocked Fisher into next week and put him out of the game?

Carlton's "flag flying" efforts are so shallow and contrived that it's not funny.

Tend to agree. It was pretty dumb. He would've been best served running up to his teammates and fireing them up rather than creating a revenue raiser for the AFL. I'm not saying that it shouldn't be done to stick up for your team mates, but the timing was stupid.

I'm all in favour of Fev doing a Dermie and letting teams know we wont have our players pushed around.
Marc Murphy will end up another Luke Ball if we dont stop other teams smashing him around.
Fev might stuff up every know and then but he plays with some passion and we need that...

fev was trying to do the right thing by the team but he's not the sharpest tool in the box so no surprise to see it mistimed or misguided or whatever ...

just as it comes as no surprise to see your oh-so sanctimonious self here following a collingwood win ...

and about time :-D

i was very dissapointed, that when murph and russell got man handled we had no-one go over to them

and i reckon DP liked it as well, gave fev a pat on the ass for his work.

its worth it, to let the other teams know, we wont stand for that shit.
