I really don't think Neitz will play after one week out...Whelan missed 4 with the same thing....would be a massive gamble

You would hope that Pagan has information that Neitz is not playing otherwise the non selection of Livo is quite baffling. the other selctions are neither here nor there - one TRYHARD for another TRYHARD it doesnt really effect the team to much.

Big game this one - We wouldn't want to lose

Hows the hell does Bannister get a game ahead of Russell? I had a Richmond mate tell me how impressive Russell was against Coburg a few weeks back, and the guys on SEN were impressed with his efforts last weekend also.

Went to training tonight for the first time in ages, and if Russell was the speed demon training in the number 2 jumper we are going to have a very good player, who looks a natural. Does anyone who went know whether Raso was the player in the No. 8 jumper with the white baseball cap? Looks like a project player who could be special but is the skinniest player I have ever seen!

JacksBoy can you please please post a training report?

I am sure others like me a dying for it.

Cheers

That's how thin our ruck stocks are people. Deluca has to play because there's no-one else to ruck. Prendergast is useless as a ruckman.

If Everitt wasn't playing so well, French would be close to AA ruckman (in consideration with Dean Cox).

Well, Dodo, we saw how good we've been with Whitnall at CHF against the Tigers

Deluca cannot ruck either so i don't see the point in keeping him in the team for that reason. Give Bryan a run in the ruck, never know till you try him.

I thought there was room this week to play a new face like Russell or Bryan. Morell has earned his spot by good ants form and Carazzo deserves to be an automatic return but I am puzzled by Bannisters inclusion. I like Bannister as a player but I thought there were others more deserving like Clarke,Russell or Bryan.

I would play Livo he is our Fullback and regardless of form I think he needs to play and cement a spot. If Livo can hold down FB and THornton CHB then there is part of our problems solved and Livo needs every minute of senior game time he can get...

Bannister is abck because Bruce is back for the Dees, that could be the only possible reason.

I'm really surprised with the team this week, but I have been for the past month.

Just noticed we have 2 inexperienced umpires and MCLAREN for the game. I'm honestly surprised they wouldn't put 3 experienced umpires in as it's going to be a hostile crowd and not one easy to umpire I'd imagine

Just another AFL conspiracy. With the sooky, sooky la, la face that he has, Geischen must have thought it appropriate given the sad day that it will be!

(It could have been worse, we could have got goldspink as well!! A shame really, we need something to fly from our flags on the weekend)

Just on McLaren. James Hird - apart from the fine he got for criticising that magot, was also supposed to be promoting the role of umpires for the next 2 years.... What the.........Maybe I have missed something, but what has he done??????

One thing not to play Russell ... emotional scar blah blah blah.

Please explain why a ready made player like Bryan who clearly needs no more time at the VFL level is not given a chance ahead of the likes of De Luca? He´s played well in the few Bullies games I´ve seen, good mark and kick, mobile and a back up for Barney. Bring Bryan in please, it makes no sense to leave him in the magoos.

Pleased to see Simmo and Bentick being given a chance, especially Simmo.

Might get his chance if Barney is out.
