heath has been sublime for the blues so far
his decision making, keeping his feet standing up in the tackle, his disposal

he has been fantastic so far

So far this has been his best year, which is pretty good because last year he was excellent.

I have Walker leading on 16 votes, Scotlamd 2nd on 8 votes ...

Walker with votes from 4 games out of the 5 I have seen .... I did not see the WC game, so have not voted for that round.

Although I Agree that Walker has been consistant, but he simply hasnt yet lived up to his potential.....He doesnt hurt the opposition enough, his disposal is still poor, and his average 14 possesions a game needs a huge lift......

He played in the midfield all of last week, yet still managed 15 touches... its not good enough.... he needs to step up into his 20's, and have more damaging disposals, such as the nice runs and goals he sometimes kicks, but he needs to do more for Carlton to go Forward.....

He and Simpson are guns, but they go missing on game days for a long time before doing something special for a moment or two....

Scotland doesn't warrant the criticism he gets and to say he plays the loose player in defense is incorrect. He always has an opponent, he is just that good at the moment that he reads the ball better than most and manages to lose his opponent to get the footy or offer an option to his team mates. PLUS, he is always up the top of the list in our contested posessions, uncontested possessions, inside 50s, outside 50s and marks (often in front of leading players). He deserves kudos for his form the past two years, not criticism.

Scotland leading the B&F with Walker (the GUN) second.

I too used to live in New York...just didn't realise that the 'wacky tabaccy' was the new drug of choice over there.

Don't get me wrong - If I were on the selection committee - Heath's name would be one of the first pencilled in. However - for the position that he is in circa 2007 - I expect more. Heath Shaw is so damaging out of defence...Lindsay Gilbee did it a couple of seasons ago - Heath Scotland should be doing it now...

...this week - if I were on the selection committee - I'm playing Scotland on the wing. Bower needs senior footy - I don't care if he's not first in line - play him across half back - let's see what he can do...and I'm sure Fev would love to be on the end of more Heath Scotland 'inside 50's'.
