Did Bentick play tonight? In fact has he played at all in the last 3 weeks?
If he did play it's a pro because he'll finally get dropped.

Over to you Wangers.
He was quiet today but saying he hasn't done anthing in 3 weeks is a bit hard,he got us in the game a few weeks back, just isn't consistant like several players on the list.

Disagree. WCE nothing, Lions nothing, St K nothing. Against Ess not too bad. Whenever he comes up against some decent mids he gets shown up! Too slow, lousy disposal, average skills = play Blackwell.

Pros:

- Waite
- Fev's 6 goals
- closer to good draft picks.

Pros:
Waite - did everything wrong last week, did everything right this week.
Young - Looked good, should get quite a few games this year.
Fevola - 3 on 1 still manage to kick a bag.

Cons:
Not chasing hard enough at times, gave up too easily.
JR - every game he played so far this year he has a give away free kicks for high tackling on opposition players. Dumb clumsy tackling week in week out.
Sentanta - Made some bad decisions. His 1 on 1 are non existence. He concentrates on where the ball is and totally ignored pushing and shoving his opponent, hence gets pushed off way too easily. I hope he does some extra 1 on 1 contest during training.
Kennedy - where the f was he?

I thought the same thing at the game. Does ok v the average teams but comes up against the elite and is found wanting.

I must agree, Rod. I think he's an honest toiler in the side is AB - but I think his spot in the 22 long term is in jeopardy, and cause of the reasons you stated.

The game is just too quick for AB. Same goes for another in the side, ie Whitnall.

Pros:
Waite was excellent.
Scotland, Simpson, Houlihan and Russell as attacking midfielders. Particularly pleased to see Russell gradually getting more ball. Very light and nimble on his feet when on the move, and uses the ball well.
Blackwell and Young contributed a bit.

Cons:
Not enough defensive pressure in midfield.
Like to see Anderson given a shot at the small forwards like Milne.
Like to see Walker playing out of the centre square.
Like to see Carrazzo released from playing as a defensive small forward, and playing out of the centre square.
(Murphy might also get a little more protection when playing beside Walker and Carrazzo.)

No we didn't - you just hang around here too much and think that our guys are better than they are because we talk about them all the time.

1. Match Committee - Any serious observer of football would have told you last Monday that St. Kilda would drop men back onto our forward line then counter-attack . But our MC, headed by the wise one Denis Pagan, seemingly were surprised by this and had NO PLAN for a whole half. What do they do all week?????

Apparently they go to the races mid week and Dick wasn't happy about it!
