St. Kilda v Carlton
Telstra Dome @ 7:40pm

The big talk around town regarding this game is who will match up on the respective full-forwards. For mine, the big question will be “Which Brendan Fevola chooses to show up this week?â€

It's just a guernsey.

When it comes down to it, I care more about the spirit and endeavour of the players when they represent the club, rather than the colours they wear.

If we wear this clash design when we win #17 I won't give two hoots. Flag first. Guernsey colour preference second.

this has less to do with colour/s and more to do with AFL ego

their is no real reason to introduce an alternate jumper except the AFL muppets on high have decreed it so .... trying to compete/emulate international soccer... $ and ego,

as a result we are inflicted with the ghastly Essendon* away strip .... and the lions, which looks more like an ad for camel cigarettes than a team jumper.

if Essendon* and Carlton joined collingwood in telling Andy and Addy to go get stuffed ..... it would kill this nonsense once and for all.

Kosi wouldn't be able to keep up with Fev one out
Goddard will run off Red like there is no tomorrow
Kennedy/Blake should end up neck and neck for pace

Down under, Fevola would beat all three for pace. Kossie isn't that slow and showed it last week, so he would be there best bet, especially his height/reach. Goddard would give Fevola a night out if he lined up @ FB!

That is the exact reason why the Goddard vs Whitnall match up will be planned by Lyon. We must utilise Whitnall going the other way however and allow RED to hurt them via Goddards accountability.

Come on guys. No laugh at Collingwood's range of guernsey's would be complete without this ripper pre-season effort

I watched it on TV and found the white "Strip" confusing....I reckon it was harder to pick out Carlton players in packs...and I really missed that Carlton jumper... :(

I don't mind the White jumper.

It all still felt the same by the time they bounce the ball.

We are the only team that deal with Nike and Nike will not make footy jumpers for us, White or Blue, unless our orders are placed 1st and they are big. We have just had another order go into the club because we have sold out of them again.
It's been a good cash flow for the shops and seems to be a bit of a hit with the younger crowds. I think it's a great way to keep the club or even the game somewhat appealing to the younger crowds.

Whilst I question the need for a clash jumper, I actually reckon our one is pretty good and by far the most respectable of all the alternative strips worn in the AFL.

If there is a GENUINE need for a clash strip, I think the subtle 'less is more' approach should be adopted, unlike some of the butchery of club colors that we have seen so far (eg. Essendon*, Brisbane, St Kilda)..

Our jumper looked pretty simple, smart and most importantly still resembled a Carlton jumper with the incorporation of the club monogram.. so I guess it could be much worse.

I hate it less having seen it in action, but still don't like it much.

It looked good up close when worn by supporters - not as good on the field, I have been a fan of this top but think our monogram doesn't look as good for some reason - either that or it highlights to me that I like our old monogram more (yes different topic altogether)

To me....it's too pissy.....it is like Essendon* playing in a Red jumper with a black sash, only worse.....it bears no vague resemblance to our proud jumper except for the bloody monogram.....and even that's the wrong colour.

Maybe they should have made the monogram bigger, the white field it sits on makes the blue shrink somewhat.

Or white jumper, with a Navy Blue box on the chest containing the white monogram?

Can someone mock that up for me?
