Correct...and another reason we shouldn't be wearing it.

We arnt playing the dockers. Get used to it

I realise I will have to get used to it, because too many people are happy to be walked over, accepting change just for the sake of change.

No one is being walked over the board has approved the jumpers these are the people we voted in.

There is one board that is against the jumper change because the president has alot of power.

If people were being walked over why are they buying the jumpers with there own free will

Our board approved the jumpers when the club was in a weak position - after accepting AFL financial assistance, I'm not sure they wanted to say no to the powers that be, on too many issues at all.

As much as I despise the filth, I say well done (hurts me to say that) on taking a stand for so long on this issue.

If the people purchasing our clash strip actually like the design, that's great, but they should never have had the chance to buy them. Sure, clubs will make money from their clash strip sales, but keeping heart by rejecting the whole clash strip idea would surely have meant a whole lot more.

Just my opinion...

Your opinion is fine.

The one main reason why the clash jumpers have been introduced is because of TV the players rarely if ever get confused with other team members.

If you sell the TV right for over 700 million you gotta give something up. Part of this money goes to every club in the AFL that is why the board agreed to clash guernsey and so would the new board.

I only said get used to it because to matter how much we scream as long as the TV is paying that much money there will be clash guernseys. Even Collingwood will be put in line soon rather then later.

Far be it for me to be offering advice on any matter that comes under the broad heading of fashion, but the Brisbane Lions jumper on show on Saturday night looked like a Pro Hart production after a night on the turps.

Um.... Pro Hart is dead Mike. Poor form.

Although this was good.

Yep, the Collingwood president in his regular role as the Minister for Everything.

All this has got me wondering what happens in a Grand Final?

Does one team have to wear their alternate guernsey if it clashes?

Could the Navy Blues one day mount the podium to collect a premiership cup wearing white?

i bought one of the official replica white jumpers $200 it set me back from the club.

I LOVE it, cant stop wearing it.

i reckon most people will warm to it when they see how good we look out there in it.

i do agree we should wear the blue shorts with it though.

I reckon we'd look like geelong then, plus the blue patches on the back of the white shorts will break up the complete whiteness of the outfit.

Whether people like the strip or not, it's an effective and really non-offensive alternative (unlike Essendon*'s red toga) and I fail to see how wearing a different strip 3-4 times a year sullies the history of the blue strip that we'll continue to wear for the next hundred years and beyond. Eddie McGuire is taking his stance because he's protecting his brand but perhaps he should look at the damage he is doing to Collingwood by representing his club as pig headed, arrogant flower and earning the ire of the media and the footy public.

How would we go playing West Coast in this Heritage jumper?

I think they look a treat and as they are selling out of the things, so does everyone else.

If you have bought a membership, buy the jumper and support the club.
