This was talking about right after the sacking. So why would his past not predjudice anything he says now? That one line has made me realise just how bullshit this whole thing really is.

Ch 9 reported the strory cause they are part of the same organisation as The Bulletin but it wasnt a 9 story. Its a Bulletin story , fullstop.

Credibility of The Bulletin is fairly much zero with this story. To do a big expose on drugs in sport and your main source is someone who steals from teammates repeatedly, is a serial liar and has a recent criminal record shows how desperate they are. It will sell a few extra magazines for sure but a news magazine without credibilty cannot survive.
Coming the same week as The Newsweek "Koran desecration" scandal, you would have thought the Bulletin would have checked with a few other sources. Since when is one proven unreliable source enought to go with a story. Carlton should sue the Bulletin unless they can prove that 3 Angwins allegations.

Think the real reason he won't name them is because they would sue him for defamation.

His credibility as a witness would be sent plummeting by a decent barrister.

He might be right in what he said - but the guy has no credibility at all -seems to be a pathological liar- owes the club big time when it tried to give him all of life conselling and tried to support him to become a better person and then 13 months later tries to spit in our collective face. This is particularly when club is under siege for its on field performances and this week should be one of celebration for the club and its fans in respect of PP.
Even he would have known what impact these allegations would have on the club - sorry no more understanding of his issues he doesnt desrve our support or that of the club

Not so sure that they will have an impact. Those who know anything about footy will know how unreliable the guy is. This will blow over very quickly...

I think after how the club handled the allegations today with their communications, Mr Angwin is firmly back in his box.

Good job Carlton Football Club, particularly Ian Coutts, Michael Malouf and Denis Pagan. :D

It was great to see Tony Shaw attack the journo involved & he became quite fiery, asking the journo what statistics he had to back up the theory about drugs being rife... He also asked the journo why he would belive someone like LA considering his history. Later on in the show, after the journo had gone he questioned whether LA had been paid for the interview, suggesting that he may have needed the money hence the motivation to come out now and say something.

Agro's gunna hate me for this, but credit where it's due to Demetriou for coming out last night and saying that Angwin had been given the arse from two clubs for being a liar and a thief so therefore maybe we should take any crap he spews forth with a grain of salt.

Even Demetriou knows you're scum Angwin....

I can't believe that two people who are generally considered anathema to the majority of Carlton folks have come up with the most sensible points in the whole brouhaha. Kudos to them.

bluegirldanielle and Deano?

thank you very much.... i think!

Possibly Steve but those who dont know footy will be concerned.
As Malouf stated today, our sponsors are mainly situated in Sydney where this recieved quite a bit of publicity.
The management of Optus or Dan Murphy may have never heard of LA.
Shit like this taints the club.
