[quote="dannyboy"]I think this will remain a problem while we rely on two things
A) on Fev to kick so many of our goals. Block that up and we are in trouble.
b) on ruckmen who do not do enough around the ground - especially forward.

Kreuzer from the northern knights might just be our answer in this years draft. He is dominating the U/18's this year. He is the Leuenberger of this
year's draft. I hope we get him. Whilst Cloke is really doing well at Carlton this year, he is probably 4cm too short to be able to compete against the
Cox's, Everitt's and Sandilands of this world. Ackland also is too short. I know we have Hampson, Jacobs and Aisake as other options, but they are still learning the game and aren't in the class of Kreuzer at the same age.
This year it's about KKKRRREEEUUUZZZEEERRR.

Perfect summing up. Well done. Couldn't have put it better!

When I always look at the ladder, one of the first things I do is check the percentage. We have had bad percentage for years.

We just need to stay positive and competitive unlike that loss against Geelong. No good team gets smacked around by 61 or 78 points. Not even Melbourne at the moment with all their injuries are getting smacked around.

Wins are a good thing but I want to expect that our losses aren't so heavy like in previous years. Like everyone says, we're a young team, so we are going to be up and down, lets just hope more up than down though

mind some might suggest c) 8)

The problem doesn't come from Fev, our scores (apart from the eagles game) aren't deplorable, it's what we let through that kills us in percentage.

Without the lure of a win there is little to stop the rot when it gets to a big margin. Ergo, death by percentage.

We need a new coach to go up the ladder properly.

Pagan will never coach us into the finals.

That's right, cos guys like Houlahan, Wiggins, Ackland, Cloke, Carrazzo and Fisher are all having their doors knocked down to be traded to top 8 teams... It's more than just the coach. These guys are good players but they're not great players - and will not get us to any finals soon.

Houlihan, Wiggins, Carazzo and Fisher would be more than handy contributors in the West Coast line up.

A bit of patience and a dose of reality wouldn't go astray.

Hmmm... So CB, does a little bit of patience also apply to our coach?! :) :?

**Anticipating any response, may I suggest Pagan did mention that 'Rome wasn't built in a day...**

Agreed, give the above mentioned boys some time and they will be attracting attention outside the CFC - but I predict *and hopefully correctly* that they will want to stick with a team with the potential for great things in the next few years.

I disagree

when fev is getting beaten (both weagles and geeeelong) the rebound from their defence to their attack absolutely slays us.

when fev is getting beaten we need a ruckman or two to stand tall - given the size of our rucks, pun intended!
