We can all live in hope. Reading positive comments on Josh kennedy in giving him time to develop and so forth. To me he looks as though at best he will be serviceable to the blues, didnt even look like getting a kick on the weekend.. Cant help but cringe every time I see Paytrick Ryder play and how quickly hes developed and how good he is.. what did Essendon* pick him up at 17 or something?.. and what about Scott Gumbelton (my choice as draft pick #1)Hes killing them in the reserves and already looks a better player than Kennedy even though he was in a different draft and still hasnt tasted senior footy, but it wont be long . Cant help but think the recruitment department at Essendon* are little better at picking raw talent than the blues... and what of the pick with Austin? cant even get a start in the Reserves..Hope he wasnt picked just hold Bryce Gibbs hand

I'm a bit unsure about Josh at the moment he hasnt given us anything in all the games that he has played . I know his young and a kp player but he dosnt hold onto his marks his kicking for goal is so so and he dosnt put himself in the right positions to demand the footy. When you draft a kid early in the draft we all expect to much to soon. But I do agree that if he was drafted at pick 36 instead of 4 he would be doing his time with the ants just like Edwards and Bower are doing at the moment.
