Considering Essendon* smashed St Kilda today and beat reasonable opponents in their first two outings, our win over them last week represents a pretty good form line for the Blues.

Thoughts?

St Kilda, who were without key defenders Matt Maguire and Max Hudghton due to injury and full-forward Fraser Gehrig through suspension, were further hampered when they lost stand-in full-back Sam Fisher to injury early in the match.

most teams should be able to beat St Kilda with those circumstances.

I would love to stick it to those knobs from Moorabbin.

They've been asking for it for some time now.

But then we beat Essendon* who beat Adelaide who beat Bulldogs who beat Geelong who pumped us. So does that mean we are better than Geelong or worse? :? 8)

Gehrig, Hudghton, Mcguire all missing, plus Awwwwwwwww Stevens.

The last time we beat St.Kilda was Hamills first game against us out at Optus Oval.

Nah we beat them later in that year (2001) as well, a forgettable game at the Dome but I think Fev kicked a few that day.l

Yeah wasn't that a game when St Kilda wore their yellow strip? Remember Kouta having a pretty big game and Ratts giving it to Hamill.

Hamill's worst nightmare occured that game, for a period in I think the 3rd quarter the big SOS was playing on him. They were wrestling for a ball at CHF, Hamill trying to get front position, SOS picked him up, moved him out of the way and marked easily :-D

our best and worst performances are miles apart
when we are good we are good
and when we are bad we are really bad
we need to bridge this gap over the next two seasons.
my flag favourites so far this year are the weagles and cats.
