Pros
We kept trying even against the odds.
Had Murphy kicked those 3 gettable goals, we may have rumbled a bit and not lost by so much.
Cloke's crunch on Selwood.
Fisher's marking and kicking.
Carlos, T Bird and Gibbsy in defence
Tex, Lappin, Scotland

Cons
Hotlips on Wirrupunda - the man does not have a defensive bone in his body.
Ackland - not guts
Red - too many easy possies
Waite - tries to be too clever, when he isn't really THAT clever.
I thought the rain would slow down the Weagles, alas it totally stuffed us up.

CONS
We are 4 rounds in and still the MC have not found a match up for Wiggins every week he is the back up, but for what. Lappin comes off the bench 2 weeks in a row and is among our best. Wiggins nothing. We can't afford a player with no plan.

Disposal under pressure we have further to go than it looked.

Yesterday was our first match against a finalist ouch!!

Hopefully players like Carazzo, Waite, Ackland can't play worse

PROS
Gibbs came back from first quarter spanking
Walker finally got time in the middle in last Q. Won first 4 clearances
Lappin, smart experienced

The biggest down side is not having Nick Stevens for the rest of the year. Who is going to take his place?

Blackwell or Jackson.....Stevens being out is a negative but its a chance for a younger player to step up and be tested......Jackson needs to show he has got what takes and young Luke has stalled in his development.
Both are good Bullants players and we know they can play at that level but we need to see more of them at senior level and to be fair to them you need to give them good game time and good positions to show their wares.

Wiggins is an example of a player who has no set position and is a now a bit and pieces player who has never been given a proper chance to learn the game and be consistent becuase he is on and off the ground and in a different role every time he does get some game time......

Concur with what has been said for the most part. However the biggest con for me was the umpire who kept having a crack at Murph for "diving" when he was scragged off the ball!!!!

Jako was hopeless as well. If the point of having an ex-Eagle doing special comments was for him to pump up their tyres while adding zero insight into the game then Foxtel got their man.

PRO

it is hard to be positive about a 61 point thumping.

If there was anything good at all...it was Smoking Joe looking the goods.

CONS

1. Whitnall

2. Fev doing "IT" again

3. Betts/Kennedy....sigh

4. Waite...needs to breathe into a paper bag...relax for @#$%&! sack

5. Pagan...I hate Pagan

6. Simpson/ Houlihan...you can run but you need to get the @#$%&! ball

7. Kicking for goal...when we did we sucked.

8. Did I mention that I hate Pagan.

9. Pagan

10. Pagan

Pros and cons :? - Of all the games played over the weekend, we had the youngest list by far 23.2 (WC Junkies 24.7). This is more than 3 years average behind Freo.

We were also second most inexperinced with 68.5 games (WC Junkies - 97) and only the dorks on 68 even were less experienced. Adelaide have almost double the games experience.

Better numbers this week against the Lions :)

I liked when Gavin Crossisca called Banfield 'you guys' (West Coast) and Jacko said 'well yeh of course we're still west coast guys'...I was waiting for Tim Lane to ring-up and accuse him of Bias like he did with Eddie Maguire.

I honestly think that Lance could play out of the square and push Fev up to half forward to apply some pressure and win a few clearances that come out quickly from half back.

That was the key yesterday. We cleared the ball to the unknown, WCE extracted the ball to a running brigade.... That was the lesson and I know our guys are smart enough to see it.

PRO: The areas where we were beaten severely are the last pieces to the puzzle. We have already made plans to improve those areas.

CON: Our training staff weren't following Murph and Gibbs around all day with an umbrella and they subsequently got wet....

Con: We Lost.
Pro: We took one for the team, ie; We did what we had too, to stop the Bumbers from climbing too the top of the ladder.
Regards Pedro.

Pros:
Lappin. He's had a very good 3 weeks. He was even laying tackles on the weekend, for the first time in about 3 years.
Simmo's workrate.
Setanta, Gibbs and Thornton in defence.
Houlihan and Walker when moved into midfield.
Kennedy found a bit of the ball when on the ground.
Cloke's bump.

Cons:
Limited time on the ground for Anderson.
Kicking for goal.
Whitnall playing the Jason Cloke role.
