What do people think?

Given how sparingly he is being used is it time to give him a spell in the NB and allow him to get a full match under his belt - both the hardened match fitness but obviously also the desired touch? I think the old adage of playing someone in the seniors to give them the "experience" etc is fine if they get decent ground time, but that (rightly or wrongly) has failed to materialise...

i reckon ratts is tutoring him well.
he is presenting he is working hard.
but it's just not clicking for him atm.
what i have seen, he isn't presenting in the right places
he leads outside the forward 50 arc very rarely to get a posession he needs to lead out of the forward 50 arc more. i believe the reason for this is that his man on man opponent is quicker and more agile and the fear that his man will just run away from him with ease. thus he needs to take marks and plenty of them..
jarred roughhead didnt make too much of an impression but is coming along now ok
one day it will click for him it will all come together but probably does need two weeks in the NB to dominate and get the feel back.

Needs a run in the magoos to regain touch.Hartlett deserves to be rewarded for good reserves form.

The change is obvious.

Play him the ruck swapping with cloke. Drop Ackland and bring in another runner.

I think we need to stick with him, give him some more game time, play him in the role he has played as a junior and what he was recruited for CHF.
He will prove his worth very soon, but needs to be given a chance on the ground to prove it.

We can all live in hope. Reading positive comments on Josh kennedy in giving him time to develop and so forth. To me he looks as though at best he will be serviceable to the blues, didnt even look like getting a kick on the weekend.. Cant help but cringe every time I see Paytrick Ryder play and how quickly hes developed and how good he is.. what did Essendon* pick him up at 17 or something?.. and what about Scott Gumbelton (my choice as draft pick #1)Hes killing them in the reserves and already looks a better player than Kennedy even though he was in a different draft and still hasnt tasted senior footy, but it wont be long . Cant help but think the recruitment department at Essendon* are little better at picking raw talent than the blues... and what of the pick with Austin? cant even get a start in the Reserves..Hope he wasnt picked just hold Bryce Gibbs hand

You realise Kennedy is 19 right?

What did you think of Walker 2 years ago frank?

Maybe we should play Kennedy as our lose tall in the backline ... he can take one good grab a game and not actually contribute much to the structure, but at least his performance will be on par with 'Paddy the Brave' ...

i remember fevola in the beginning he couldnt get near it

At the moment Kennedy is ahead of the other KPP's taken in his draft. Ryder is too short for a ruckman and lacks power/grunt to be a KPP, Beau Dowler is yet to make an impact whilst Mitch Clark is struggling with injury and supposedly has a questionable attitude.

I was at the game on the weekend and Kennedy couldn't have been expected to do much more with the limited and poor disposal given to him in conjunction with the wet conditions. Saying that I believe that some leather poisoning with the Bullants may do him the world of good.

I think Ryder has been pretty good. Has improved & matured quicker than i thought he would.

I really like Mitchell Clarke and think he'll be a star in the next couple of years.

Can't comment on Beau, but i watched him quite a bit in the TAC and he was very very good. I'm expecting him to make the transistion to AFL soon.

Kennedy, well...............i like the way he presents and i like he's second efforts. Plus, i think, for his size, he is pretty good below his knees.

But i just don't think we can play him. Not with the way we're are playing at the moment (this who Fev loving-bomb it inside 50 style is pissing me off)
Try Something Denis................throw Fev to CHF and leave Kennedy in the goal square.
I don't want to see him in the ruck & I don't like him down back.
