I'm thinking about our list after todays game and am sorry to say but we have a LONG way to go.
Those of you who want us to win more than 4 games this season dont truly care about the club.
We need more young guns. Our current list of youngsters aremy good enough.
alright, this guy is a troll/alt of another member.
had to be with such statements.

i point out this one word - youngsters.
its simple, twice, when we play a side with mature bodies, we are shown to be the young side we are.
even then, i dont think it was as bad as it was on the score board.
the third quater cost us, not them scoring, but us missing goals.
there was a stage where we "should" have been under 2 goals of WC instead we found ourselves 8 goals down.
The passage.
1. When Waite scored the goal was dissallowed. (Result, they went down and scored - 2 goal turn around)
2. Murphy Shot on Goal, missed. (result, they went down and scored, 2 goal turn around)
3. Waite shot on goal, should have scored (Result, they went down and scored - 2 goal turn around)
At that stage in the game, if we had of taken our chances, the result would have been a WC lead of no more than 2 goals.
That was where the game was won and lost. Instead of being 2 goals down, we where 8 goals down.
We, as a young side, need to learn to take our chances when we did, and against sides like WC, you dont get two chances.
We have a long way to go, and loses to Geelong & WC, show us that, and show us how far we have to go, but we are headed in the right directions. At times we where good, at times we are bad.
Jackovish, summed it up perfectly IMO.
his statement was something along the lines, Carlton has to learn that the difference between their best and their worst is very little (like WC). Once they learn that, they have the talent to win and beat most sides in the comp.
Our best, with the current team (which will only get better with age and experience) is as good as any side going around, yes, even WC IMO, however our worst, is alsto the worst in the competition.
We dont need to climb that gap to make our best as good as WC, we need to climb our gap that makes our worst, better than what it is, and that, will come with time, and experience.
p.s. Pagan. Why? Why do you have Waite in the forward line when he was killing it in the NAB across half back. Move him back, leave Kennedy on the ground with Fev up front and let the side develop.
p.p.s. If we can take a positive, its that Gibbs, Murphy, Russell all got a glimps of what is need to be an elite footballer having played on Kerr or Judd. Learn from it, see how they do things, and they all have the potential to be as good.
