I'm buying one of the away clash guernseys and am considering putting one of the following player numbers on the back

3

6

17

30

It's got to represent one of the current crop of players but I've mixed feelings as to which number to put.

I'd seriously appreciate any constructive thoughts as to which of these I should choose and why!

Id go 17 i think. O'hHailpin is a great player and picking a number like 3 would be too common, alot of people have it now because of Murphy.

17 all the way mate :-D

43 for me......................always will be!

I want the #43 to be retired when Kouta decides to hang up the boots!

But that's just me.

In answer to your question, i'd probably be going #17. It'll put fear into those around you! :-D

yeh, I'll be wearing it at footy training and I wouldnt mind my team mates being a bit fearful on occassions rather than laughing to themselves when they see my kicking style! Actually, in that regard, 17 really works :)

Can't wear 25 on any guernsey I wear that I'm playing in or training in. Not cause of Fev. but I don't ever want to be compared to Jezza...

I'd go with Bruce 11 Doull myself

But given they'll all think of Ackland, I'd go 17. I think we should be doing everything to perpetuate the birth, image and cult of Carlos the Great!

if you play footy, then pick the player you base your game on or the player you play most similar to.

i would pick no# 1 but as it's not an option go for no# 3 no reason other than single numbers look better.

Saw a great one at the NAB cup grand final, a bloke had a Carlton guernsey with the number 95 on the back.

Seeing it's a "clash" jumper there is the spirit of the gladiator about it...

It has to be 17

Setanta is our answer to Russell Crowe!!

On that basis, I'd pick 8 (because that's what I look like).

I like the 95 idea as well .. and the 17, for all the reasons above.

Go with 30 I reckon .. Jarrod doesn't get much of a guernsey on this site, and pulls the occasional footage-worthy act .. something maybe you want to aspire to in your footy career!
