Oh to read the stuff on BomberBlitz is priceless.

They are slagging off young Carlos but also having a go at the flowering flower 'this is your captain speaking' Lloyd and how he egged on Setanta after the ball went over his head.

You flowering moron Lloyd.

BTW - Have ordered the DVD on Name the Game - copy arrives on Monday for as little as $41.95 inc P&H - Priceless!

Anyone got youtube vision of that crazy dance Monga did waving his arms at hip level while running toward Carlos?

Looked like thalidomide meets Elaine. I like to see it again. I had tears in my eye laughing at the tool.

I love this:

yet another nail in the coffin of why stats mean nothing in the modern game.

llyod got 5.2, a pasting in any other time

but llyod did not get one goal where he beat O'Halphin one on one.

first got, was a hand ball over the top
second goal, was not a shot form outside 50
third goal - was a free kick (was there)
forth goal - handball over the top after santy did the right thing
fifth goal - very good kick from mcveigh, gave santy no chance.

it was a tie imo, and i only say that because Monga kicked 5, any less, then i would have given the points to Santy, he beat him, time and time again.

It's amazing, on MMM they were awarding their "Worst On Ground" and Santy got a mention.

I don't care what MMM says. I know what I saw and I loved it.

MMM is a bunch of blokes from their boys own club, who are too interested in the way they look and prissing up their egos to know what's going on. Classic examples of people who think they are the entertainment, not the game.

I haven't been able to listen to them for years.

while on the subject of the Essendon* captain      remember that free to him with Santy leaning over him - if you've got the footage have a look, you can see Lloyd's jumper being pulled hard....

guess who's got a handful of his jumper?

yep the Essendon* captain grabs himself and pulls the jumper taut!

weak

Still only SD tuner though... :?

Still, I'm tipping seeing Carlos have a crack at lloyd in SD is just as fulfilling...

I'm just getting the hang of my panasonic...I basically bought it for the purpose of archiving all the games. I needed to record Austar and FTA then copy to a dvd so I couldn't justify getting a PVR...unless I got both but my bank account said no.

It's really easy to use which is a bonus and when recording in XP mode the results are superb.

Yep, been using it for 2.5 years, now have 3 tuners in 2 cards. ... I'd say almost never fails.

I missed Top Gear a week or so ago when it strangely recorded it at 8:30 instead of 7:30 .... may have been an EPG source error though ... I use one of the processed EPG sources, updated daily.

The auto search facility is sensational, null_pointer is a legend!

I was away in Nth AMerica for 4months from mid December ... had some issues with errors in the stream after a couple of months. Asked the housemate to check the connections, which he said were fine, but in fact when I returned I found the connections just needed a wiggle to return them to error free condition. That's the main problem with those TV plugs we use .... F connectors are more reliable.

Is this TalkingTechnology???

Back to the Irishman...with a bit of luck, he'll become one of the great AFL stories...can't wait to watch it unfold.

Proud to say... he's been my favourite since his bullants days... :-D

Walker a close second.. think it has to do with the way these guys go about improving themselves and their game...
