You've lied and cheated TalkingCarlton members, all along making out that Camporeale has bleeding the Blues dry when all along he has actually been earning less than $500,000pa, whilst everyone on here has been led on to believe he has been earning $620,000+ ($690,000pa) which has proven to be bullshit,

Even you have conceeded he is on less than $500,000pa..

The lies.

Well, considering his last contract was signed in late 2001 (3 years) that would make it a $1.5 million 3 year contract.

BUT!!!! The Carlton Football Club, AS STUPID AS THEY ARE, decided to save some money...by EXTENDING his contract for one yar for ANOTHER $500,000  Not to take into accout backloading...so the lies about how he is taking up SO MUCH OF THE SALARY CAP are in fact rubbish because at the start of the contract he was taking up minimal space...

He must've been very well looked after for that to happen.

How much more of your rubbish are we meant to take?

You havn't been able to come up with any facts. Your figures change post after post. How can we be expectd to believe anything you state?

Serial liar.

Interesting Camel....Is Synbad allowed to call people "TRIPPERS" (and that is just from this last page  ) for beating him in an argument and catching his lies out. Seriously same rules for everyone please.

Verbs

Does it really matter what campo is on?

Clearly he is on too much money for the output he is giving to the club of late. His contract expires this year, and I am sure the club will come to the table with a realistic offer. I have read somewhere that he has been offered a 300K one year contract - which he (reportedly) knocked back.
Sorry, I have no proof to back these figures up, but its not the point.

The reality is this: Campo is 31/32 I think. Lets be realistic and admit that campo is not performing at the same level of that in his heyday, How many clubs do you reckon will be knocking on his door to offer him shitloads of money? The simple fact of the matter is that the club will offer him a one year contract at best, I would suggest would be no more than 300K. If he doesent take it, well he can play for Glenelg or something next season, cause there isn't going to be any other team interested in him.

So lets move on and talk about the footy...

Fair call, however, "trippers" and threats of physical violence are not really in the same league, are they?

I think we should let campo go at the end of the year, as he is taking a big chunk out of the cap with his salary no matter which way you look at it.

If he decides to leave and play for another club when his contract expires then good and well. Then we can put his money towards recruiting players that will help this club going forward.

Verbs, whether Campo's contract averages at $450,000, $500,000 or $620,000 he's still over-farking-paid.

Quit the argument. It's boring.

The arguement not about what Campo was being paid, but that somebody was delibertly misleading other posters in order to pursue an agenda.

Okay hands up - those that think Campo should be paid $450,000pa.

Nothing, nothing at all, not even a tear at hello .......

I do. Campo is class, might not be playing well at the moment, but the hell who is. 450K for Campo, no problem & considering he is on a backended contract, he is worth it. Next year might be a different thing.
