Yes whitnall has had a bad start to 07
Yes he played badly in NAB cup ..........who gives a toss its only nAB cup.
Yes he looks out of sorts at the moment

BUT............
.....................
.......................
..........................
............................

its only round 2 lets give him another month or so before we call in the firing squad.......he was clearly our best player last year and just needs some confidence and game time (in the correct position).
I believe he can turn it all around and believe the captaincy will help him as a player.

bagging our captain mercilessly, it s very Richmon esq

Whitnall needs to take a look at himself

90% of out players tonight need to take a look at themselves

Our coach needs to take a look at himself

And our coach has made it quite clear that Whitnall will be persevered with so you don't need to waste your time calling for him to be dropped.

last week everyone says that they cant wait for us to beat the cats, and how great things are and how glory and arrogance has returned to the playing list because the young kids know that they're a part of something special...bang we lost a game and look at what everyone is saying now.

So hot and cold some of you lot....sure all of our emotions run up and down with the club's success..but Geelong are a class team, its not like this win will be the end of the club, sure the boys were ordinary...we have Essendon* next week...the boys could/should win that one, suddenly we're 2 and 1 again and you'll all be posting about how great they are again.

Jason Cloke or Jordan Doering would have won our best and fairest last year playing loose man across half back.......
Lance gets paid a lot of money to be a professional player......Cousins had mega problems off the field but always delivered on match day.

Lance should resign the captains position and take some time out to collect his thoughts and get some help for his off field issues....that would be true leadership and would earn him some respect...

Fev was easily our best player last year ... Murphy did more in 12 games than Lance, and Setanta gave us more to look forward to in the last 6 games of the year than Lance did during a whole season of playing in the 'hole' down back. I'm all for being positive about our players, but let's be a bit credible about it ...

Carlton should not tolerate any player who is consistently underperforming.

Lance is clearly one of those, and is in fact a liability in the side at the moment.

No point in having leaders on the field who aren't leading

The Match Committee needs to be ruthless, show the players they mean business.

No passengers please.

Give those performing well in the 'Ants a go.

He would surely earn my repsect if he were to do this. I doubt it would happen.
