I will give you an answer once the club doctor and Fev confirm to me what the problem is.

Can anyone actually confirm the extent if any of his injury?

i heard denis say there is no ligament damage but only a bit of bruising, i don't know if that helps as most people had probably already heard that anyway.

He will have a week off in the split round.

And we all know Fev, he will surely get suspended in one game or another, so he will also get a rest then.

Fev himself has admitted there is a small tear. Not sure of what.

I think it shows how far Fev has come over the last few years. 3 years ago, if he had a bad game, he would have kicked 0, and spent plenty of time on the bench. A bad game now is 3 goals. I think most opposition teams would be happy to give Fev "only" 3.

Yeah that's pretty obvious. An eskimo working for Santa would know Fev's come a long way in three years. 3 years ago... Head was all over the place, was recently almost delisted, trade bait was the talk, and very inconsistent

Now.. Best full forward in the game without any inch doubt. You can take Lloyd and shove him. Brendan won a Coleman and spoon in the one year. That is saying something. If he was in weagle land last year he would have kicked 110. Lloyd is very good (or is that was??) but in his best years was playing in one of the best sides going around. Watch now as Big Fev is in his prime and we are building an empire of baby blue guns. Lloydy's gonna get lost in Fevs shadow

Within the knee capsule.

Pagan likened it to a bruise.

Ok here's the next question. Whitnall has a knee injury and is currently getting it drained almost every week (explains all the poor form huh?) Should we rest him, let him recover and then bring him back when he's fit and ready to fire?

Or will it just create a big media feeding frenzy with everyone claiming we're dropping the captain?

If Whitnall is injured, he shouldn't play. Simple as that. He doesn't help anyone if he can't do his job.

I have never been one to play injured players. Unlike recent times, we have a few youngsters who are close to playing who could do the job if Lance can't.

If we rest Lance now the club will be open to that much ridicule it won't be funny. The critics will be in their element...the reasons will have nothing to do with his injury, it'll be Lance has put on 10kg since the season started, what a great example Lance taking a break is setting as captain, the game is moving too qucikly for him, the club are hiding him, this is a way of easing him out of the side, what a terrible decision it was to make him captain, its a disgrace Lance is still on out list, Lance is responsible for AIDS, Cancer and Breast Cancer.

Then when our fans have finished it'll be time for the media and opposition supporters to start.

all the talk doesn't matter if the result of him getting rested give us the 4 points on Saturday.

it was clear against Richmond that when Kennedy replaced him in the 3rd quarter it made a huge difference.

if he is injured rest him til hes right, i rather the media talking trash than us running around with half a player.

Im 50/50 on this one, he looked groggy during the 3rd quarter but then fired up again in the last.

I reckon play him this week, if the effects are starting to show again, then it would be a good idea to rest him.
For mine, start developing your forward options and rest him up! There's no reward to going out with major reconstructive surgery! FFS - three shots from in front, two out on the full, and the third through for a point .. he needs a break!!
