What Carlton via Swann should say to Pagan and Mitchell,

"We expect you to act like adults, to communicate and work together for the Carlton Football Club,
If you can't do that, then both of you will get the axe".

And Pagan will reply with "show me the money"

Give them 3 written warnings and if no improvement - flower them off.

With Pagan apparently secure for 2007 and irrespective of the rights or wrongs, the way I see it....Mitchell has to go ..is he really that important to the future that the club will continue to accept the current nonsense ??

That assumes that the club has the power to give such a direction to Pagan. I'm not too sure about that.

..the old board was dodgey.. ..they lacked the guts to finish off pags.. ..they interviewed mitch and then flip-flopped.. ..it sux, but mitch now has to go.. ..he got screwed..now like anyone that gets reamed, he should leave.. ..it aint fair, but neither is life..

Nope...............keep Mitchell.

For the past decade (with both North & Carlton), anybody who has a problem with Denis is moved on...........seems like the growing trend & the thing to do and the way i see it, the reason why there is such a positive feel around the club at the moment is because we have just broken the trend.

Something needs to be done yes..............but please don't move Mitchell on.

..yeah i can understand why yer may feel sympathetic to mitch's plight, and i also understand that the old board let pags bend them over a barrel and now it's harder to shift the stubborn ol' bastiche'.. ..but the current situation is untenable, both have shown they're too immature to move on.. ..and quite frankly we're all about regaining our integrity..and while this continues we ain't gonna have any..i cant see pags getting the chop before season's end..so we either dump mitch, or this conts all season..

Does anyone else feel that Swann turning the heat down on Pagan and Mitchell's dealings suggests that Mitchell applied for the head coaching role, rather than being requested to as he's publicly suggested?
