Synbad,

one very interesting part of your post is that you say Demetriou was important in bringing Pratt back to the club. I'm sounding like Pauline Hanson, but can we have a 'please explain?'

The Spew didn't do this for any altruistic notions of saving the Carlton Football Club.

The Spew doesn't do anything unless The Spews interests are served first.

Firstly The Spews KPIs include maintaining the health of a 16 club AFL competition - if one team falls over - the FTA networks will want some of their $780million back - and second the Commission would think long and hard about awarding him a pay increase, if one of their teams fell over.

Secondly The Spew would like to think he has Pratt's ear  - but even in all The Spews arrogance - he needed to work through his now dead mentor to get the word back to Pratt that the AFL would welcome his involvement.

The Spew is a big arrogant turd - always was always will be, but he wasnt doing Carlton any favours by encouraging Pratt's return to the club - he is only doing himself one.
