Whats its matter who is and who is out....I posted the following on the CSC site. The way I feel even if we win it wont be satisfying because its just a short term deflection from our real problems and I will have to endure more threads about comebacks, we can still make the finals, and so called positives....rah rah rah etc etc etc..Some might like to delude themselves but we are back to square one when Pagan took over...

Normally we would win because its a emotional farewell to Optus game and all teams lift as we saw Essendon* do for Sheedy but the result doesnt matter to me...its more about player development and the next couple of years. Sure we win and wallpaper a few cracks and then the elite teams shake the foundations and the wallpaper falls off and we are back to square one again. I would rather we play some more newbies than swap more deck chairs on the titanic...Morell, Prendagast ..whats it matter?...ditto Bowyer for Mcgrath etc etc etc..its about Blackwell, Russell,Raso Sentanta, Hartlett etc taking us to the promised land rather than being stuck in the wilderness with a team of average players being swapped week in and week out in some desperate attempt to appease the supporter base, media and sponsors....
It does matter who is in and who is out because with those type of players out we have a better chance of NOT GETTING DONE BY 50+ points! LOL.
But you bring up a good point there Elwood.
There is alot of talk about perhaps 'Tanking' the season to take advantage of the early draft picks. Some people think this is our most important plan for the rest of the season and other don't. Each to their own i guess, but i'm with you.
Drop the likes of Johnson, Prendagast, Bowyer, Bentick, Scotland and ect, ect and bring in the Kids ie, Davies, Walker, Russell, Hartlett (although injured) Blackwell, and just leave them on. Give them as much game time as possible.
If we are going to get done by 50+points again, at least we are giving game time experience to the players that will hopefully be leading us into the next era at the club.
