Most significant comment of all. I think we all liked that Carlton. And that Carlton is coming back - for good!

So much so that I think its time to follow their lead. I will upgrade my membership today as a show of support to the Club.

Maybe a Blue Suits membership or something like that?

So long as "it" doesn't move for Pratt you should be right.

I think its fair to say that a large proportion of Victorian heavyweights were there last night...
Its not everyday that a lazy 2 mill is raised in one function..

It really is amazing how quickly our fortunes have changed.

Only a few months ago many were resigned to the fact that is was going to be a long long arduous road ahead with our only hope resting with the underwhelming Smorgon/Rose leadership combination & the wishful thinking that ALL of the young players WILL turn out to be stars and turn our onfield & offield fortunes around.
We ALL were crapping ourselves I reckon whether we'd like to admit it or not.
The skies were dark and the vultures were circling.

The majority of voting members had the courage to vote for change, not knowing what exactly lay ahead, but above all else were fed up with incompetent leadership & management and were not going to accept any more of it.

THE MEMBERS STARTED THIS SNOWBALL ROLLING BY ALLOWING FOR CHANGE..

So if anyone who is reading this isn't a member because they think their voice won't be heard, THINK AGAIN!
Join up as a member and exercise your democratic right to guide your club into the future!

You can just feel the other AFL clubs absolutely sh*ting themselves at our quick rise in fortunes, and cursing the fact that they can no longer laugh at our expense.... Its getting close to Payback Time!!

A part of our list problems between 2002-2005 were coz of him and his dud recruiting.

On SEN, Swann was quoted as saying he's been to many a Collingwood fund raiser and has never ever seen anything like what went on last night.

I know a lot of people on here try and downplay the silvertail image of Carlton..
But purely by the magnitude of the wealth of some of our supporters we are by absolute streets the wealthiest club in the country..

Put it this way- a largeshare of the two richest families in this country- the Gandels and the SMorgons- are Blues supporters...

Yes it is...I spoke briefly to a board member whilst at training today and asked if he a) had a good time last night and b) was he happy with the financial contributions...the answer I got back was intriguing.

"A real good night...and not everyone who is going to contribute could make it last night - so I dare say there's a bit more to come".
