We shouldn't even entertain the thought of trading this bloke...

Agreed.
It's all about the delivery for Fevola.
While I don't like to see him crack the shits and lower his head, he does deserve better.

Thought him and Houlihan worked well together on Friday night.

Get us a decent midfield, clear the F50 and this guy will kick 18 in a game before his career is over.

If our centre line was the following:

C - A.Walker, L.Ball, Judd
R - French, Ricciuto, N.Stevens

etc. etc. (you get the gist) - how many goals do you think Fev would kick?

We play Collingwood or Essendon* when rebuilding and Fev will kick 20 with decent supply.

It's scary to think how many he would have kicked if he was playing for Geelong on Friday night. The number of clean entries their forwards could lead into was scary...imagine if you were a Geelong midfielder kicking to Fev, you'd look for him everytime and he might have kicked 20 the supply was that good.

Yeah, i can remember the Kick from Nick Stevens that could have easily hit Fev on the chest and would have no doubt given him another goal to add to his tally. But the kick was woefull and missed the mark but 5mtrs!

Fev was leading well all night!

Twice in the 3rd, Fev was clear on the lead and Steveo kicked wide and hit Mooney on the chest

Houla was having no problem hitting Fev. Why aren't we using him in the midfield?

To get our midfield anywhere near that we will have to trade Fev then some !!

PFft.... I don't care about Footy anymore.

I'm into UNO now.

Anyone want to play? Got your own deck?

Agree, but that's why i like seeing him at CHB because he takes it up through the centre anyway that he just blends into a 'midfield' type roll as the game goes on!

But seriously, This would be my ideal team as once again.........Ryan2000 dons on his Coaching Hat!

CARLTON
B: Carrazzo, Thornton, Teauge
HB: Houlihan, Lappin, Morrell
C: Campo, McGrath, Davies
HF: Walker, Fevola, Chambers
F: Setanta, Whitnall, Betts
FOLL: French, Koutoufides, Stevens
I/C: Bryan, Russell, Bannister, Prendagast
EMG: DeLuca, Bentick, Longmuier, Scotland

A couple of points, Davies can kick a magic goal but miss a set shot from 10mtrs out. I would like to see him push up into the centre as he has been tried on this possistion in the bullants and has been effective. He could be the next 'Ratten' type player????

I would have put in Fisher but am yet to see how he will go coming back from injury.

DeLuca has done less than stuff all. He's Cut! Bryan would be a much better back up to French and Setanta could easily take his place as a forward even though he has only played the game for 12 months!

Prendagast only JUST made my list and it was only because of his height. He needs to learn how to play down back or else he's cut!

Notice how Scotland isn't in the team????? Yeah, that's because i cut him.
But if Prenda gets cut, then i'll bring back Scotland.

Bentick.......yeah, he's cut! I like his form in the VFL, but i don't think he can make it as an AFL player.

Clarke.......CUT!

Lappin, whilst a good option up forward, needs to go down back. Him and Teauge and Thornton have the best defensive work out of all our players and are just too important!

Norman........Cut! If he don't like it, well tough. He's gotta proove that he wants to be in my team. Grow some Balls Norman!

And if i see somebody back away from a contest........i'll Cut them too!
Go at it Kamakarzie style boys.

Oh yeah, and while i'm at it...............Dennis! - Your cut too.
