One Prattism goes something like: You need to get the best man available, and if they are available then there not the best man.....something like that. We must be paying squillions

Maybe Pratt is covering the cost through Visy like he is for Ashman, de Bolfo and others (some to be confirmed)

I was really hopeful for an injury to Marc Murphy, now this...

(A little bit of wee actually came out)

Brilliantly worded and diplomatic press release.

Michael Malouf leaves with dignity and on his terms.

Pratt comes out of it smelling like roses.

Mrs. Cazz has some severe explaining to do as Miss Agro Junior had to be revived with smelling salts after hyperventilating and fainting in shock.

"MM Out" - what were you thinking Mrs. Cazz. :P

"Michael will continue to work with the Club to ensure a smooth transition while considering a range of career options including a possible role with the Visy group of companies."

Visy is slowly becoming a major sponsor with the assistance.

So now we have a highly credential CEO and Football Manager :-D :-D

I feel like such a loser - I didn't think of Murphy at all.

Pity about Malouf - I had high hopes when he crossed from council. Best of luck to him and to us.

Sort of edit: just read the CFC article - that is a @#$%&! brilliantly written press release.

Even off season news is now good news at Carlton.

I LOVE MY FOOTY CLUB! :-D

Mrs C is evil. :P

I love the synergy of Swann joining the wobbles in 1999 at the start of their rejuvenation and now starting at Carlton.

Yep AGRO. As much fun as it is receiving the inside word, it's better still when no one gets the leaks.

Don't know a lot about Swann, but can't find a lot of criticise about Collingwoods off-field performance over the last 3 years.

And the 5 years before that were better again

Exceptionally good news, and Swann has the runs on the board.

Even better would be Eddie's reaction. 8)
