Hes shit scared of me... 8)

This sums you up Synbad. Let me let you in on a secret, the only reason I have refrained from meeting you is because I heard you are old, blind and senile. Else buddy, you would flat on your forehead the second our eyes met. Now piss off and stop stroking yourself you demented twit.

We all know we lack class but had Brittain stayed he would have given most of our younger talented players away (because he was unable to get the best out of them) and we'd have a team full of foot soldiers that would never go near to winning a premiership.

You're kidding aren't you BW. How much improvement do you see in our young players? Most of them are going backwards. And we do have a team of footsoldiers. What do you call Bowyer, Bannister McGrath, ADL, Johnson, Longmuir etc etc., how much better are they than Hulme or Franchina or Freeborn?

Whatever Brittain's failings he was an honourable guy, who according to various reports was very good with younger players, obviously couldn't get through to Fev. He didn't have the background to call the shots and bring in his own team which is a problem. I can't imagine we could possibly be worse at present, whoever was coaching. We're shocking, no better than in 2002 and the future looks bleak

Was mainly referring to Fev & Houla- 2 of our best players from last night and 2 of our brightest prospects. I think things would be a lot worse without them, which would have happened had we retained Brittain.

Bowyer, Bannister McGrath, ADL, Johnson, Longmuir were not at the club under Brittain anyway. Pagan must have thought they were better than Hulme or Franchina or Freeborn otherwise they'd still be there.

Well Fev kicked 5 goals (mostly from passes from Houla) so we would have lost by 100 points instead of 70!

I don't know you Surrey but you write some aggressive, dirty, horrible posts sometimes that are just uncalled for. All these physical threats sitting so proud and confident the other side of your computer... pretty weak stuff really. Why the language? Why the threats? Why post?

Surrey, I accept and understand your "relationship" with Synbad, but in reply to my PM I have just sent you I'd like to hear some reasons why I should remove the warning just granted for your post above.

Name calling is one thing, but threats of physical violence, pseudo or otherwise are not welcome on this board.

Mosley and others, I have sat here for over 12 months now and received abusive, deregatory posts from Synbad and not said boo but tried to keep things on the subject and argue to the thread at hand. THIS HAS NOT WORKED and until last week, I was called a frightened poster who runs form responsibility.

I have decided to fight fire with fire now. It's never been my nature but I have a feeling that is the only thing this guy will ever understand. I think I have received enough abuse for the past couple of years to warrant this, if you guys think otherwise, I cannot do much about that.

Surrey, just let it go. Synbad is Synbad and thats the way he is. Theres just no need for fake physical threats given this is an internet forum!

Try to outsmart him and score points that way. That's what verbs is going nuts trying to do right now...

I miss Danny Frawley. If there's one thing he taught us it's that no matter how matter how much you lose by it's never the players fault.

You know you can do it. I have faith in you.

A timely reminder to all, please, if ANY TC user posts something you are uncomfortable with and think it may need addressing, please report the post using the blue report button at the top right hand corner if every post.

While the TC mods acknowledge that most of us come here with baggage and prior exisiting relationships with various posters our attitude as mods has been to start everyone with a clean slate and to try and ensure people post their material fairly and reaonsably within our guidelines. Generally speaking some slack is given as the last thing we want to do is to be warning people all the time, but there comes a time when the odd person needs to be pulled up. We all make mistakes, mods included, and every now and then a gentle tap on the shoulder does us all some good to remind us of our responsibilities.

Take it easy folks and post on...

Don't know if anyone listened to the Radio National call of the game besides myself, but Parko thanked Tim on air for it, and said WB would have been a happy man to have been defended. Obviously the great man was still a bit dirty with the whole affair....

Tim was very modest about it and got the conversation back to the game pretty quickly, which put the article in context, I think.....
