Sounds good!

Is it going to be near the model train place, or is it on the other side near the BWS?

If I ever get a free night (young family), I'll check it out.

Yeah kind of near the train shop ,but a bit further up.

It is on the corner of Simpson Parade and King William Road.

We will cater for young families :-D

We are considering to maintain a child safe area in the courtyard.

Se you there SA Blue

This is similar to an idea I have already put to the club.

What I called it was the Carlton Business Network.

Basically a type of Carlton yellow pages where people with businesses could offer discounts to Carlton members.

Would be easy to set up online, business owners who are Carlton members could have free listings and other businesses could pay for the privilege.

Just one of many things that could be done online to benefit the club. Watch this space, hopefully they will come to fruition soon. :-D

Sounds a very good idea to me; if you are looking for an electrician or similar and have no idea who to trust, knowing they were a Carlton member would be a good incentive to choose them, apart from any discount that might be on offer

Count me in as one who'll definitely come in for a few bevies.

Drove past there the other day, it used to be (is?) Bellissimo II Cafe.

It looks like a good location.

Of course, you'll be competing with the pub down the road that is owned by some of the Port Power boys.
