i'm sure it's just me, but can someone please explain what goddard has done?

i heard "sellers" comments vet (was changing a tyre at the time due to a puncture ... what a @#$%&! weekend!!).

he said we need an injection of talent. also said walker would be a player, just needs help from mates and patience from supporters.

hard not to agree on both counts.

Got 26 touches today, but from what I saw of the game most were floating around 1/2 back.

We also need to draft players with leadership potential.

hmmmm ... wonder if we could get their coach too ... he seems to make a lot of sense from a HR key performance indicators, self-appraisal perspective.

i've been thinking for a while that our football dept should really find a better name for itself ... something like "people and football culture". only cornflakes could move us forward in this regard.

McClure on 3LO said before the Hawks game that our resulkts against richmond and Geelong were to be expected because of the rejects we have. His theory runs that the reject plays very well for a year, because they are on death row, last chance, etc, but that when they survive the cut, they revert to type.

So all we need to do is keep them for only a year and replace with them a new lot of rejects every year!
