Looking at the first 3 round, the blues should be the biggest drawcard:

Provided we are competitive in each game, and win a few, we should be able to get the below crowds:

Round 1 vs Tigers: 65,000

Round 2 vs Cats: 50,000

Round 3 vs Essendon*: 70,000

Round 4 vs Eagles: 46,000

Round 5 vs Lions: 40,000

Round 6 vs Saints: 50,000

Round 7 vs Pies: 75,000

Average: 56,571

Assuming that these numbers end up being somewhere around the mark (and that's a big assumption), it will be great for the club. Having said that, there will still be a little part of me wanting to say to some people "where have you been since 2001?"

I understand your point Buzzalenko, but I am a diehard Blues supporter and their were times that I went to the football and wish I didn't. They style of football Pagan played was simply disgusting and I don't blame blues supporters for not coming. Had we played attacking football and lost by 10 goals i wouldn't have been as angry, but playing negative football and losing by 15 goals was terrible. Carlton don't defend well, but we can attack with the best of them at times. Pagan should have played to our srengths more but that is another issue and we are moving forward now.

Would be good, but with the "unprecedented TV coverage, I don't see this happening. Do we get a cut of the broadcast fees?

I reckon you are on the money. An improving team, and bugger all free to air - in other words to see your team you have to go.

See here:

Its the pub or the ground if you don't have foxtel (except for the Bumbers).
