Brown off. We have gone quiet - but we did that last week too. Keep the faith

Whitnall zero stats for the second quarter. Pagan willl earn his pay at half time. He has to make a change in tactics or we are in strife. Black getting far too much of it.

We are ok - it's the experienced Lions Black, McgRath, Brown that are doing the damage.

Sadly Lance did not touch the ball that quarter.

Mmmm.... I wonder what the Sailor man will think of that???

Stevo was excellent but can't do it all. When he went quiet so did we. Tough to expect a 19 yo to carry the load. Time for Simmo to really make his mark.

Where they pulling our leg when they said Bryce Gibbs and Chris Judd are distantly related?????????? :?:

Very good games so far from Stevens, Lapping and Thornton. Fev is only just starting to get involved. Setanta's going ok against Brown. Murphy and Simpson are a bit quiet at the moment. Russell is keeping Black and Power quiet(can't remember who he's on).

Fish has been great also.

Fev and Lappin vocal to the players at half time.

Harsh, very harsh.

We all knew where we were at with our ruck stocks, they are too short. No matter how high they can jump, still cannot get there hands on ball and explains why the Lions are getting to ball out.

Fev up against 4 as usual, looks like he is ready to fire up and either kick a bag or get reported...

I hope that 10 minute patch during the second qrt was our usual fad out for a game and we were lucky not to be 4-5 goals down, the lions missed some easy shots under no pressure.

Who ever is on Black needs to be tighten up.

It can only get better, though! The MMM guys kept on about team work, and the passage showed them to be right (this time) because it ended in a Team Goal .. as opposed to the last passage by our guys which ended quite ugly .. like you said: hope it's just a slight fade-out

MMM apologising for the AFL for the game not going live to the telly in NSW and SA .. said it's Vision problems .. I reckon it's unprecedented coverage problems ..

Half Time Score CAR 1.4.3 36 BRI 0.6.7 43 .. still anyone's game .. or is it?

Yes Beano, he is.
Having a tough time, but learning a lot.
Brown 1 goal.
Commentators said Brown looked 'knackered' at half time.
We are still well in this.

Oh, and happy St. Pats day to you and yours!

This game is going to be so good for us. It is going to really highlight the areas we need to work on. I have no doubt we have improved and the kids will get so much from this.
Areas to monitor - Stoppages Carrots, Eddie, Simmo
Run through the midfield
Forward line is still too Fev - centric.

Looking for a good showing in the second half. I think we are a little flattered by the 7 point margin as they missed several easy shots.

Go Blues!

Beano,

He's on Brown and doing okay so far from what I have seen on TV. It will be a great learning experience playing on one of the best....

Gotta agree there .. again, focussing on that passage where he just went the hero and ended up the zero .. wonder why he wasn't dragged

Under way here in the 3rd term

46 plays 36 .. Lions ahead ... here's the Pre-Season Quarter!

And 31. C Wood in the umpire's book ... and Carrots goes for 9!
