To me the most worrying thing is that we seem to be heading back to where we were in 02 and 03, and seeing Kouta is still close to our best player and he's 32, things can only get worse. You expect young players to improve a bit each year. too many of ours are going backwards.

Sporn - showed class in injury riddled seasons over last 3 years, very effective ag hird etc. this year injury free, looks lost and going backwards
Davies - looked really promising in 02, showed glimpses last yr and is at best treading water, but going backwards on what he showed in his first year.

Morell serviceable last year, making up the numbers with ants this year.

Bannister - top 10 b&f last year. This yr, last picked first dropped
Lappin great last year, struggling at present
Norman really promising last year, nowhere this year
Prenda good last year, barely allowed off the bench this year - what the hell are they doing with him
Scotland -really good last year, exposed for pace and application this year
Teaguey great last year, being exposed for pace and height this year
Fev starred in first half of last year, had about one good game (last night) this year.

ADL great contributor last year, can't get near it this year.
Walker really good debut year, this year seems to be benched all the time, give him a run.
Johnson serviceable last year, looks out of his depth at present
Who has improved - French, Waite, Simmo....anyone else? Wiggo is treading water and for all his trying has rookie list skills but was first round draft pick.

Who takes responsibility for us going backwards - players ? coaches?

We don't have a great list but the players on it who are under 25 should at least be improving. So far this year most of them seem lost, out of confidence or disinterested. We're in deep trouble. Lets hope Russell and Harlett and Blackers are going to be stars because the cupboard is bare and getting worse.

Always hope, but hope is starting to wear thin with Pagan and supporters.

Shouldn't have to have his lack of height exposed. Is being expected to do too much. Last year we had Morrell & Norman as options. We are leaving too much to too few. And yes not too many have stepped up this year. You haven't mentioned Carrazzo.
