I was considering it, but just couldn't justify it to myself, which means I have bugger all chance of justifying it to the Mrs.

Oh, I'm even more cranky at my aunt who is having her 60th in Adelaide on Easter Monday.

I was planning on going to the Grand Prix, popping over to visit my SA rellies, then coming home via Melbourne for R1 against Richmond. All nice and neatly packaged. Now that my aunt is having her 60th and I don't actually have all that much leave owing to me I've had to drop the GP off my to do list, and as it turns out, the NAB GF as well.

Nah, it's a financial thing.

She doesn't mind me pissing off for the weekend, but she does mind me pissing off for the weekend when the balances are looking a little under the weather :-D

I drive a V8 - $100 would just get me to Albury, especially if I was cutting through the Capital to pick up Gez :-D

Gez will pay for half your fuel, why do you live on the NSW coast again?

i was thinking of going as well...but the flights are 2 much (would need to take the whole family 4 in total) so at 440 return x 4 being $1760 ends up a pretty expensive trip at short notice.

No frequent flyers around of course

The last time we won a pre-season cup it cost me far more than that - still trying to find my dignity, 2 years later...

Oh and my house keys. Must have fallen out into that bin.
