Wow indeed it was that Wizard Cup match against the Eagles (watches the DVD for the 45,000th time and laughs at Prendergasts supergoal and remembers calling him a good kick..oh how young and naieve i was!)

before that it was the Adelaide Game...And i think we also beat West Coast that year didn't we?...Andy Walker's first game was early in the season against the Eagles and he was arguably B.O.G ...i still remember him streaming down the wing at Optus Oval late in the 4th quarter after having 24 or so touches, with everyone yelling for him to have a shot (to cap off a stellar debut game) and he steadied, looked in-board and with amazing vision, he put it down Digby Morrell's throat and walked back to his position with a grin on his face...i'll never forget that moment.

Do we count Who Cares? We beat the Ducks in 2004 at Olympic Stadium, Sydney, by 102 points .. but I guess that was before the Adelaide game, wannit?

I know you'll say it anyway, tommi, but here it is just in case:

just for the sake of trivia...before that game at Olympic Park against Sydney in a praccie match in 2004...our last interstate win was against Adelaide in a Qualifying Final in 2001...so that means since 2001's first week of the finals, we've beaten West Coast twice, Adelaide twice and Sydney once...this is in 5years we've won 2 Home and Away Matches against Interstate teams...ouch...i didnt realise just how dark the dark ages were until the stats are researched...thank god for The easy-beat Essendon* who always proimse us at least one victory each year!

I was there .. one of the highlights of my short football-going career (actually, #2 in my top-3 Carlton games). I tells ya, those Ducks supporters don't like winning-team supporters!

-- Just watched it again on Duckpond --
CAR 0.7.2 1.9.6 1.13.8 1.22.9 150
SYD 1.1.2 1.2.4 2.3.5 2.5.5 48

11 scorers all up, including
25 BF 0.8.5
16 SC 0.4.1
3 DM 1.1.0
2 DH 0.2.0

I knew there was a 50 in there somewhere!!

Now all we need is for them to relocate interstate and that's an interstate win every year!!

Well if they become the Darwin Bombers, dont let the japanese air-force know of this...dont want history repeating itself.
