For mine, one positive and one positive only:

Houlihan's passing to Fevola in the second quarter. Absolutely sublime. If only the rest of the team delivered to our forwards like that.

It is mathematically impossible for us to be bottom at the end of this round

David Teague was very good and Waite while patchy showed he is still improving....French was adequate in the ruck against the odds.
Stevens battled hard with his sore knee and showed some spirit ....

Fevola tried for partof the game and then gave it away when Scarlett went onto him and stopped chasing..

In that case if Neitz isnt in Livo coming back might not be a positive....

if Livo could play on Neitz every week, he would be All-Australian full-back.
its like the only guy he can beat.

How about Wiggins run from Half-Back, passed to someone who escapes me right now, kept running, got it back and another great pass to Waite.

Well done Wiggler :D

Good on you , Synbad.

Um - I'll try this again with a bit of passion ...

- Waite's hands
- Bentick had a turn
- Kouta looks to be moving freely - seems almost athletic in his movement
- Betts made you think something might happen - although nothing actually did
- Whitnall didn't stop trying - I really mean that
- Walker got another game
- Fevola kept trying to kick goals
- Fevola seemed to get along nicely with scarlett at the end of the game
- Star Wars stll starts next week

Fascinating game coming up next week. I can't possibly imagine us dropping the game but there'll be some nervous moments leading up to kick off for me

By the way - I would of thought that Skilled Stadium was the last suburban ground - is that incorrect? Is it becasue Skilled is the stadium for only one team that it's not suburban?

@#$%&! em

Hmm, I wonder if the censors change the word @#$%&! to the same @#$%&! symbols each @#$%&! time? @#$%&! @#$%&! @#$%&! ...

Let's press submit and find out

@#$%&!

Yep, same symbols - regardless of whether you say @#$%&!, flower or @#$%&!

Interesting

Rok, youre right.. i hope we win 5 1/2 games or maybe 6...
I hope theyre not tinking about going for 2 top 5 draftees again this year and 3 picks in the top 20 and the best uncontracted player .
If theyre thinking like that ill pack it in...!!!

Hey, Kouta's fitness has to be a positive, apparently no player has played more minutes than Kouta this year.

Erm, we're all breathing.

Erm, I should wake up tomorrow morning.

Erm, oh yeah, we played pretty bloody good for one quarter. :|

I gotta admit I am getting sick and tired of Teague playing on much taller players. For my mind Teague got a bath tonight. Sure he always puts it and never drops his eye off the ball, but he got beaten fair and square by young Playfair tonight. I also don't understand why when he is well in the clear he doesn't mark the ball. All he seems to do is punch the ball away which is a nil result. If he took the uncontested mark then we would have a chance to be 50m further up the ground.

Why don't we play Morell CHB like last year and then use Whitnall on another backman relieving Teague to someone his height or to allow Whitnall to go forward?

And Stevens while he gets a lot of the ball he just turns it over too much and doesn't deliver to the forwards anywhere near as well as he should be.

Can someone tell me where our long kicking game has gone?

Sorry this is a positive thread, but I am just responding to comments above.

I gotta say that the 2nd quarter and some of the 3rd quarter was positive. They really showed how we could play if we really put our mind to it. I am hoping that this period will stick into their minds and give them confidence for next week.

If you can suggest another way that we can get 2 "Top 10" quality draft choices onto our list - then I am sure those "nones" down at the club would like to hear from you.
