Mate what youre seeing now i saw at the Collingwood game im just a couple of weeks ahead in the realisation stakes.

There is only one way to get out of this.. the club and the supporters should be smart enough to recognise it.

Lance on Ottens was a good match up... two duds.. that had no real effect on the game playing on each other...

The problem is there is noone out there to whip them into shape when we hit a reef.

We need to start again....

another crap effort but hey heres the thing maybe we have to many passengers.

Well other than a half dozen players which are garanteed .. a few who have just started and need to be retained we just play with the rest of the list and tell em play when you get the chance impress or your out. see who stands up and those who dont they will be gone trades what ever and as i think we will be ending up close to the bottom of the ladder we will just hopefully get some drafts without AFL penalties and maybe this will revitalise the list.

Anyway what can you say the first quarter stuffed us and we where gone by Quarter time.

When you get 7 scoring shots and cant get a major and watch the cats then rebound and score no wonder the team confidence crashes. Backmen and Midfield get it into the forward line and they miss and then the ball goes strauight back into defence and the Cats score.

i guess when that happens 5-6 times in the first quarter the team just goes to shit. yer they came back a bit in the second quarter but the damage has been done and all your doing is trying to close the gap. one slip up and you find yerself even further back .. confidence goes again and last quarter we got smashed.......
Geez in first half we had 16 Scoring shots to Geelongs 15 yet we are 20 points down and have just been trying to hang on

ohh well no point in going spare we just have a crap list end of story

Maybe lack of heart but we dont have the right equipment to get the job done..too many skinny light kids coupled with average ability and too many supposed elite players who dont produce often enough or for four quarters...we are back to square one and the draft/trade period....and when we do recruit our next batch of U18 recruits let me repeat what I have said previously....no more underweight skinny schoolkids with excuses that they can build up in the gym..doesnt work....not when ours are starting from so far back.....its futile...

well all i hope is we dont come last come 15th pick up some talent and lets hope the AFL dont stuff the rules up this year

Also piss off these players with hamstringing salaries IE Campo / Kouta i wish as he is now part of the low point in the Blues history and Whitnall unless he shows that he wants to resurect his career and start off at a more realistic Wage.

Yer we can blame the coach blame the kids but seriously we not gonna get out of this until we see the era of the last guard dismantled so that we can start a fresh

Rem Kouta / Campo and Whits occupy a third of our salary all on backended contracts and this will always stuff you up.

Fev - guess we have to keep him and build around him

The rest of the list will be playin for the careers from now on
Prob only safe players will be some of our draft picks and rookies who may be safe for 2006 ie Becker / russell / Hartlett

Geez what a poor batch of players that you can say will be retained for 2006 .. no wonder we not goin anywhere.

But hopefull we will finish low on the ladder get some good picks try for some uncontracted players IE saints and Cats
And reduce the mercenaries who are chewing up a 1/3 of our salary ie Get them to play for what they really are worth and for the jumper. If they dont then we can then use the money we save on poaching some decent talent.

We all rave about it but at the end of the day Walker's debut was the worst thing he could have done in terms of setting himself too high and unrealistic a standard...

He'll come good but it's just not happening for him at the moment...but he only turns 19 this week so he's got plenty of time.
