Why is our game on Saturday delayed on Channel 7 by 1hr and 45mins?

Do you think that going live will work against the gate in someone shape or form?

If 2 Victorian teams are playing interstate for whatever flowered up reason, then the game MUST be live in Melbourne.

Because Foxtel are showing it live. Not sure what's happening. The guide in the hun says 7 have it at 8.45. http://www.yourtv.com.au/guide/index.cfm has them showing a movie.

Don't be surprised if the team who wins only kicks 8 goals in total.

Has been a lot of rain here over the last 3 days with more to come up until Saturday. I think it will be a low scoring scrappy affair but this may just suit us.

Have my tickets and can't wait to see the new crew live.

BondiBlue,

Think you'll find Kanga's 2nd ruck is Brad Moran - looks mighty handy to me.

Regards.

Moran and Hamish Mcintosh did the ruckwork vs Freo....Sandilands slaughtered them both.
Moran took a few marks but his decision making was woeful....turned the ball over and couldnt hit targets by foot.
McIntosh is a solid unit but nothing special....

Thanks kkk

I thought he was pretty good.

I wouldn't say that sandilands slaughtered the Kangas ruckmen., but yeah whilst he was in the ruck (not the entire game though) he had the advantage of height.

I think the Kanga ruckmen nullified his advantage by jumping into him, and lets say he did dominate them in the ball ups, one thing imo was obvious is that he certainly didn't give his onballers the advantage you would expect....Kangas dominated the clearances...they were more desperate.

Perhaps it was the onballers that made the ruckmen look good. I don't know how that works. :?:

I know there will be critics of McLaren's selection - but from reports of the Bullants game, both of these lads deserved a call-up so well done! I'd love to see Hartlett get a game, but suspect the Match Committee will take a softly, softly approach and leave the side as is - unless of course there are some minor injury concerns

I would have had Blackwell in the squad....wouldnt mind seeing Grigg and Bower make the final team, we are going to need to be more mobile vs the Kangas especially if its wet....

Hopefully the heat policy will come into operation, so we get to see a few extras getting a run. If we get to play another couple of players, I'd particularly like to see Bower and Grigg getting a run.

And if Saddington is not going to get much game time again, they may as well rotate him and Bower between the firsts and the seconds.

Game is on 7 at 8.45pm Saturday night in Melbourne, other states check your local guides.

don't think the heat policy will come in judging by the amount of rain up there.

Go Grigg & Hartlett :-D

If we can just iron out some of those stupid decisions and polish up the kicking we can go all the way and win this flipping thing. I've got $100 that says we can, anyway.

I reckon we can nullify the Kangas with intense pressure and quick movement to Fev, JK and Lance.

Midfiled success is crucial but we now have the numbers.

Sneaking suspicion that McLaren will play, covering the position of the back up ruck and back tall defender, so we can drop Saddington and play the extra small in defence?
