It was great that is was the younger guys that pulled us through - Bentick, Kade, Walker, Carrotts, Russell, Big Josh in the last quarter. One sobering thought - is Kouta passed it? Turned the ball over and missed two easy shots at goal.

GO BLUES!

Those freaking pricks didn't show the song yet again. What is wrong with them? Now I'm mad. Then again happy we went through.

Oooops, no song.

Could molsey or one of our other Tasmanian friends tell us what the support is like for the Blues down there? The Carlton portion of the crowd were definitely louder than the Hawks, which is a surprise given Hawthorn have been playing games there for a few years now.

Maybe one for the Ideas thread is to promote support in Tassie and get players down there more often.

Thought was funny by the comentators before the macth they stated both teams near full strength both want to win

But when the Blues won they started to say Hawks look good may get top 8 and great effort but they where missing 4-5 players ... sheeeesh 2 weeks in a row Blues win and we get shit canned lets hope the baby blues make the footy media eat shit

Could somebody who watched the game take a look at the poo/wee scoring chart... :? Lots of action through the corridor. What was the reason there?

If it were the Bummers or the Filth it would be a circle-jerk, but the media still loves hanging shit on us.....

Stuff 'em.

I come from a tennis background and visited Tassie quite often, and I can tell you that there are hundreds of Blues supporters down there. They're a loyal bunch too - no chance of jumping ship even if the Hawks move there.

I can't see why 10 would be a forum for us to be bagged out.

Tim Lane, Vossy, Wallsy and SOS all with fairly decent Carlton credentials.

Effective? Tough on the champ but he should nail the goals.

Thanks, great to hear. Obviously when we were winning flags there was a great national appeal and Brent Crosswell was a big part of our success in the late 60's early 70's, but other teams had champions from Tasmania, St Kilda, Hawthorn and Richmond.

I can tell you with assertion, even if I only watched it on telly that there were far more Carlton than Hawks.

I'm stoked, I didn't expect us to win. I was so impressed with Murph he's a star, theres no 'ifs' anymore he is an absolute gun. Kennedy is improving and worked really hard leading up the ground to provide a target and Walker continues to will himself and get that pill!!

Well done boys!

Don't worry there are plenty of Carlton fans in Tassie and no way would the the ones I know even think about supporting any other team!
