I shared a few drinks with Simon Beaumont the night of this match...and he said it was the strangest game of footy he's ever been involved in - but if you think it's over when retribution is served up then you're sorely mistaken and living in 1972 or your flatmate is Robbie Muir.

Another point to be made is who the hell played in that side who's playing tonight? And Carlton fans are so quick to jump all over Fevola and Scotland for thier little indiscretions...but you'd be fine with someone knocking out and causing serious harm to someone for something they did 4 years ago? Is this you Carl Williams?

Noticed that. You have any idea what Saturday night's lottery numbers will be, and which horses will win the quaddie legs on Saturday as well?

Keith ..you have missed the last three Brisbane grand final wins?....and Nick Reiwoldt getting intimidated....Brisbane have physically intimidated all their opponents for years now and there is no way known that if Milburn had cleaned up the likes of Luke Power or the like that the Scott Boys, Pike, Brown etc would have allowed Milburn any breathing space for the rest of that game or in the future....fact is Milburn would have hit the anchors and thought better of it....we are as weak as cats piss if you pardon the pun and the other clubs know it.....

Its not about punching blokes behind play either....its just every time Milburn gets the footy he gets the treatment and ends up getting lined up himself...

re: Simon Beaumont.....theres a tough individual who cared about his teammates.....rather have Robbie Muir ..at least Robbie would be sleeping without the light on all night...

What made it so horrible was that it was like watching a car accident. You could see what was about to happen with Silvagni never taking his eyes off the ball. Next thing he was just about convulsing on the ground and then just to add salt to the wound Milburn did his applause to the crowd.

I've got no doubt he regrets it and has been a fair player since but what he did that day was sickening.

The only part that Milburn regrets is the way he applaued to the crowd. He said it himself that he would still lay the same hit.

fevolaaa, serious question:

What is it that you have against Geelong? I've always wondered.

Build a bridge and get over it. Happened right in front of me. No different to Hirds hit on Wakelin except Wakelin got up but SOS and the crowd had a cry.

I can't be bothered looking for it but check out my thread I think titled "R22 vs Geelong, 2001"

Filth and Scum, actually went to the Essendon* final last year and went for them.

Don't get me wrong I despise Essendon* and Collingwood also but not in the slime's league
