Let's just wait until the site is actually up and running before we all start frothing at the mouth shall we?

I passed that suggestion on last week budzy. Hopefully they can incorporate a bit more in the background, obviously not where the text is though, dark text on light background is easier to read than light text on dark background.

And yet that is what TC has. Is there a way to get a different skin that isn't so conspicuous?

And while I'm at it, what about a quick reply function?

I know some of the operations department at the club are aware of this thread. If we can provide enough constructive criticism if you do not like the site I'm sure the Club will take it on board.

Maybe we can start a poll?

Do you like the new carltonfc.com.au website?

Yes or No? (state your reason in a separate post)

Making the website degrade nicely for anyone without flash would be a nice start. A big grey chunk in the middle of the page is a pretty poor effort.

Well said Mordan...it's simply just not egalitarian.

Regardless of the fact that I was in the telco game for last 15 years (private enterprise/ executive marketing/ non public service), I still have dial up to ensure that my website doesn't put off the average punter/ ignorant/ non conformist/ naive....are considered. There's too many good folk on it...with money....lots of it too.

Very important for all marketers to note.

Don't believe all the hype when comparisons are made between the number of users of broadband and dial up. Those numbers are easily manipulated.

Will there be a live radio steaming link from the page for tomorrow's game?

i reckon the banner could be spaced better.

the space between the logo and fisher compared with the space between murphy and "Sign up and stand with us" looks :? to me.

the five players should be slightly more to the left, that way the carlton logo wouldn't look as bare.

also the "Sign up and stand with us" doesn't go to the membership page which i think it should considering that the Dan Murphys and Optus logos are linked.
