Oh the dirty laundry is starting to surface.
Billc3 you're right about this:

Our new captain, the captain of our football club has a blew with his brother and instead of sorting it out behind closed doors goes and puts an intervention order on him and therefore INVITES the media to comment. He is then stupid enough to make a comment that it is a "private matter"?? Dumb, plain dumb......
If he didn't want this matter public, he made it just that.
As for the 'hit man' stuff generated and transmitted from Lance's phone...as quoted in the Australian...
Quote:
The court was also told that Shane ….. had received threatening text messages himself.
One message, which Shane and Tammy released outside the court, reads: "My dad knows hit man and I can get you taken out".
"When I've finished with you, the only place you'll be going is the morgue in a bodybag," read another.
Well that's over the top! Too much damage done in that alone. It's public information now. There's no going back. Face the music Lance...it's your call (pardon the pun).
IF all that is quoted is true...IF it is, (and it looks damning), then Lance should step down as captain.
His attention off field will definetely be consumed by this epic drama (that will continue for how long?), and the rest of the time he can concentrate on his own game.
Step down, and try and take the focus away from the club and the inherent association this incident will have with the club whilst Lance is captain.
Give the captaincy to a cleanskin: Stevens.
Lets start the season proper fresh.
