verbs the only differential to what you just said is i think i have a track record of having a clue and you dont...

so i suppose youre right....

tajke these numbers into account... inside the salary cap...
Stevens
Kouta
Lance
Campo...$ 2.05 Mill..approx
the 12 previous ... say $650k (ill be generous)
Mott, Harf, Baumont and Corey.. say 450k (3.1 million so far)

Whats the last 22 into 3.2 million???

You dont think the rest of the list.., Clarke.. Wiggo. Livo, Teague,Lappin, Waite Fev , Davies, Norman , Fisher, Houla,Longmuire , Chambers, Digby, Thornton, Prenda, blackwell, johnson ,scotland are averaging around 150k????(most are rejects who couldnt get a game from other clubs...what do you think most of them are on...?? what do you think teague is on??? more than $150k for his first 2 year contract??... Fish???... howabout blackwell???... johnson???... Longmuire and Chambers???Norman ???... whatabout Davies and Diggers???

sure there are around 4 or 5 in that group that are taking home low $200k(Fev and Lappin)

Hardly seems fair does it???

See my point about lopsides salary cap lists and averages playing lists???

Want to talk about maths again????

Like i said youre invaluable to ther site..

assuming we wipe out the corey beaumont mott and harf money this year... and say Campo is down to $200k fcos lets face it sho is ging to offer a guy who is 31 more???... (apart from BM he has him marked down as more than Fev... so he would let Fev go at 350 k (same as Lance... who noone wanted last year for that money... ) ,,,and he would keep Campo for $400k cos after a 2 year contract we would have given Campo another 800k to do FA and try and keep Fev for $700k over 2 years(I repeat he has Lance down for the same $$$$ as Fev next year)...WILL YOU GUYS LISTEN TO YOURSELVES?????
then if we get rid of Lance and save ourselves say $1 Mill..(keeping Campo for 200k) and the money we save from the players that dont play for us anymore.. we will have to firstly fix up players out of contract... Waite.. Fev..Walker...Teague, Deluca, etc...then we can try and bring a player who will be valuable into the club.
Yes a few of the other rejects will probably be delisted saving us more.. but then theyre not on alot and that will too be swallowed by players who are needed coming out of contract ...

Do you follow that bit MArky Mark????... there are a few players who also need to be given new contracts... and you wont have the amount of dosh you put aside....(by keeping Campo and Lance on huge contracts still when they are either too old to have currency or cant perform)

Thank goodness youre not in charge of list management...

Trippers!!!

Since you have a track record of having a clue:

1) When was Camporeale's last contract?

2) How long was it for?

3) How much was it for?

4) Was there a backloaded element?

5) What happend regarding the contract after the salary cap fine?

I'm interested in how you can prove he is on $620,000 per year. If you can answer all those questions clearly, not guessing and making up things, and explain year by year how his contract has unfolded since it was signed you may have some credibility. So far you have none. You cannot back up anything you say...you're an internet geek at best...and there's nothing wrong with that...but any figure$ you come up with are pure fantasy in my books unless you can properly substantiate your claims.

You know, even a link to a media article may help your cause. Otherwise it's complete heresay.

There are 12 blokes just there on under 500k or maybe touching it...

This is what that group have earnt so far this year:

Bentick 44400
Carazzo 56900
Walker 74900
Betts 52500
Bryan 39300
Raso 39300
McGrath 62500
Bannister 58100
Russell 45600
Hartlett 41400
Deluca 74250
Bowyer 55900

Total $647,055

This is how much they will be paid for each game for the rest of the year.

Bentick 2500
Carazzo 2500
Walker 3250
Betts 2200
Bryan 2200
Raso 2200
McGrath 2200
Bannister 2200
Russell 2200
Hartlett 2200
Deluca 3250
Bowyer 2200

Roughly another $100,000 there.

So

Synbad's Guess = <$500,000

Reality = $750,000

There are a few on that list that will either not play another game for Carlton or not play period Jarusa...

My guess was $650 if u have a look up...and surprise surprise it isnt edited.

Not big noting myself but i cant believe i earn more than the majority of that list - I dont think its right and there seems to be somewhat of a dual economy happening in our ranks.

our 500K and 600k players aren't 9 and 10 times more valuble than some of those guys

De Luca and Walker will most likely play at least another 10 games each, that is another $60,000+ just for starters.

It was very interesting actually.

Now I know why Andrew Walker played 15 games last year instead of 16 games. 4000 reasons why.

Actually, I'm conviced you didn't get it. You never do.

If Camporeale added an extra year to his contract to help the financial burden after the salary cap fine he must have been on $930,000 a year to be earning $620,000 a year this year.

If Camporeale took a backended contract he would've averaged $387,500 a year over four years to be on $620,000 this year.

Now for your theory. How many times do I have to ask? Why do you refuse? Why are you withholding information from Carlton fans? This is a community. You aren't showing much commnity spirit Synbad.

Blackwell isnt even on the list.....
But there are only so many little pieces you can cut a pie into..

anyway interesting exercise wasnt it??

Puts things into perspective, doesnt it!
thanks lads... keep up the good work...

Must be said those figures are assuming Bannister, Bowyer and McGrath are on base salaries.

They could be earning more than that. :?:

Which would make a guess of $500,000 even more innacurate.
