Article on AFL.com regarding Milburns 150th this week ends with him stating he was a Carlton supporter.

Now I really hate this guy.

His shirtfront on SOS is footy and I really wish we gave one to Brown last week so I can live with what he did. But his actions afterwards were a F***ing digrace. Given he used to support us he should have had respect for SOS and the crowd not and acted like a brain dead thug.

I hope those senior players who have taken the reins this week show all and sundry a tape of the incident and make sure that all go out with the intention of causing as much pain to the pussys as possible.

Oh yeah did I mention that he thinks it unfair that we think of him as thug?

The Cats' hard man has lost every one of his previous milestone games - his debut, 50th, 100th and first finals appearance were all losses and he even required a shoulder reconstruction after his 100th.

Let's make sure it continues.

MIlburn did a stupid thing and then had a brain meltdown afterwards.

I am sure given the moment over again and thinking rationally he would have chosen to do it differently.

He got suspended, did his time and I am sure SoS is over it, so maybe the rest of us should be too....

Maybe since he's out of contract this year he might come and play for the Navy Blue.

He could make it up to all of us, by being a committed dedicated, passionate footballer, go on to win a brownlow a B&F be all Australian play in a winning GF win the Norm Smith Medal. 8)

I'd say yes ... All on base payments ... hmmmm...

See I reckon that whilst his act was disgusting and his conduct after was immature and ill-advisable at best, you just sometimes need to move on.

It achieves nothing calling any player "scum" and harbouring such a deep ill-will. It's very easy to go over the top in these situations and this has certainly happened in relation to Darren Milburn. No you don't have to like the bloke but the comments made by some are more of a reflection on you than anything else.

I don't like what Darren Milburn did that day but it's not like it's at the front of my mind every time I watch Geelong play either. The only time it really comes up is when we play Geelong or someone mentions it. I think if I remember correctly Darren himself apologised and admitted that it was a poor thing to do and what more can you ask?

For what it's worth I reckon he's a good player who is generally pretty fair too. How many other incidents has he been involved in? If it was one of our players that acted like that, would we react the same way?

I think we need to move on fellas...

Yeah, what the sensible ones are saying - I was at the game [why do we feel the need to say things like that?] and [I was also at the 99 prelim] for what it's worth [then again, I was at the roos game in round 22 2003] I enjoy watching him play [shit, i was at the game after Vin died as well].

Uh, stick up for your mates and all that but ... uh ... yeah - I reckon he's a top player

Shit, another pointless post

Believe it or not ...I was at those games exept the roos loss and the original Melbourne loss....(and never made it interstate) so I've basically missed all of our shellackings in the last few years.....AND THEN I WENT ON SATURDAY :?

I've felt sick all week

See, I didn't see the incident, so my view isn't fully informed - BUT I reckon he's a good player, he deserves the accolades, and it was 4 years ago now, why bother whinging about it?

Mark Bairstow was interviewed in IF last year, and he reckons Bomber Thompsom deserves some blame for 'that' too - if he hadn't dragged him, the crowd probably wouldn't have gotten so violent.

Look, let's just move on.

thats a bloody cop out if i ever heard one.

if milburn wasn't such a knuckle @#$%&! and handt tried to decapitate SOS and then clap the crowd and smile while he was bought to the bench then the crowd wouldn't have got so @#$%&! violent.

milburn has bad karma and i'm content that one day it's going to come back to him.

I dislike him because of the Silvagni incident but there is no doubting he has matured as a footballer and would be very handy in our lineup.
We just dont have players of the ilk of Fraser Brown etc who can keep players like Milburn honest and even the score.....

All the 'ugly' Carlton supporters are easy to pick here!! Guys...it's football...you have a split decision to do something and there is a fine line between being labelled a hero or a coward. The people who 'boo' Darren Milburn tonight are probably the same people who booed Brendan Fevola at the footy last Saturday! As far as I'm concerned - these people can go and barrack for Richmond...

As someone very rational said earlier...Silvagni is over it as he's stated on Channel 10...so it's about time you did too.

Oh...and 'Fevolaaa' - I find your avatar extremely offensive. It's a game of footy mate....get over it.

Keith ...Milburn crossed the line......the incident becomes over when Milburn is sent to the change rooms on a stretcher and learns that the Carlton team wont tolerate any of our players being lined up as road kill in a unfair manner......however in our present state thats unlikely to happen and you can look forward to Milburn, Mooney etc playing bully boy tonight....
