Is it tragic to get up at 4AM in New York and constantly refresh this thread to get an update on scores when it's only the preseason competition! It's good to have the footy back. Thanks everyone for catering to tragics like me.

I'm still up too here in Mexico City. My missus trying to sleep next to me couldn't work out why I was so tense. Great win. Any news on Murphy's hammies? Was Gibbs on thr fround in the second half? Will Cloke ever kick a goal? What about the run??????

Why don't you listen on the net instead of relying on this FJ?

It's part superstition and part due to the fact that the radio guys drive me nuts and make more tense! Perhaps the first reason is not so valid given we have lost so many games over the passed four or so years

But it's oh so sweet when they get up and it will happen more and more. I'll keep an eye out for you on match nights.

The best thing other than winning was that that flower Lucas didn't kick any more goals after 3/4 time!

With Santa at FB it will be Xmas all year round.

At last our defense looks good.

Its not the halcyon days of Sexton, Silvagni, Hanna, etc....

But with T-Bird and Santa...Waite and Scotland...We looked strong.

Santa shat on Lloyd... :-D

Waite creamed Lucas :-D

Let the climb tothe top of ladder begin!

Bo Bluebaggers!

I wasn't able to attend the match tonight, nor was I able to watch it or hear it being covered but I am THRILLED with our win !!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D
I danced around the house when I checked my phone and read the 3 footy updates....
The boys really needed a win, and even though it was a small margin, its a win...

god I'm so happy!!

I hate that flower Lucas because he always turns onto that left foot of his.

He tried to fool the umpire before being pulled up and told to kick over the mark. 8)

Was Stanton playing tonight?

He couldn't catch Scotland.

Satnton was dangerous tonight.

And Monfries

I didn't notice Stanton because they're all red and black scum to me and unimportant. Lloyd deserved more than a free kick for that cheap shot on Thornton and he always acts innocent.

It was great to see Setanta show some emotion and firing up after the Scum got another goal back.
