Love how people jump to conclusions.... lets see who it is first, unless you have some firm evidence.

I have it it good authority that the player is Nick Stevens.

Apparently he won 9 turns in a row on the money wheel then dropped all his winnings on 24 on roulette and it came up. Then he bought a plate of chinese from the bae-marie and went home about 3am much richer.

I love how the footy show is the breaker of the story, wonder if they were the maker as well.

Apparantly it was Pagan. A few schoolgirls took issue with him about comparing them to the Carlton players on Saturday

Just on a 'kind of related' story here...I'm quite concerned at what I've learned what Fev is doing with his Saturday night.

He is the guest celebrity at the relaunch "Key Nightclub" in Morwell - a place known for it's drug culture (the Key, not Morwell...well maybe that too) and the posters being bandied around advertising this goes something along the lines of 'Join Carlton's Brendan Fevola cause some chaos at the Key this Saturday'...photo of Fev in Carlton jumper.

This isn't a good promo for the club...nor Fev who seems to be promoting his drug pimping character on the Footy Show...

Now I know a footy player has to jump at these opportunities - Fev would be being paid a few grand to do this....easy money for a Saturday night...but I don't think every club in the league would allow their players to do this....especially with a venue that does not have a good reputation...as we have seen with Gardiner and Cousins...it's very easy to get caught up in this shit and very easy for the media put any spin on it they want.

Put it this way...I'm that unhappy about this...I'm sending an e-mail to Couttsy now - just expressing my thoughts and stating that Sunday / Monday morning - he's the one who might find himself in the firing line defending our most marketable player.

while i can understand what you are saying, i dont think you can compare it to Cousins and Gardiner.

I thought most people knew about the Cousins, Keer and Gardiner stuff ages ago becuase it has been rumoured for ages that they where up to something wasnt it.

i certainly dont know first hand, but im sure that has been rumours flying around those guys for a few years now. Its just now it is out in the open.

Couldn't agree more Scott.

Those two boys from the West have/were up to things many many years ago (allegedly), everyone knows it, it's been reported often enough. Well most people in WA know about it anyway.

I think it's a crying shame that a player cannot earn a few bucks on the side regardless of the 'name of the club' and or it's location. To be honest I have lived here three years and have never heard of the place let alone the reputation it has.

Fev's a big boy and I'm sure he knows what's right and wrong and what's good for his image and the club's image.

The way I see it is that it was a massive breaking story do you really think an incident that happened on Saturday night would take until thursday night to get out???
I don't think so.

the footy show (eddie) is trying his hardest to cause some unrest at the club with stories like these and stories about Fev singing on stage at a night club while he is suspeneded.

I wonder if there's some sort of connection between crown security and The Footy Show. My guess is the first phone call is to TFS, then to the rozzers.

Anyone see a link between Crown and TFS?

PS: that was rhetorical.
