No worries Brad but we should check the details. I believe at this stage the second sponsorship will be a "sponsor", not a partner.
Only "partners" are entitled to player appearances.
Either way, it would be good to see it come to fruition.

Oh I thought the only difference was we weren't getting the Social Gold seats

Hey guys,

Just did a quick draft of the letter that I want to send the club. Firstly, who should I address the letter to? Secondly, have a read through and give me any comments/ideas to add?

Dear …….,

On Sunday February 18th, the Herald Sun had an article entitled “Bravest Little Battlerâ€

If this does go ahead and we do look at raising some dollars for Mariah, what sort of timeframe would we be looking at?

I'd be willing to do a sweep of our office to get some cash for this, but would probably need about a week to shake everyone down. :-D

Would that be feasible?

Yeah I'd think so Deano - dont think its something thats going to happen in the next few days. I guess it depends mostly on what the outcome is in terms of what we are able to do. Great to hear of everyone getting onboard!

Hi again all,

So the letter was sent to the club today and a reply was received late this afternoon. The following is the major aspect of the reply:

- they saw the story and were also moved
- more than happy to help us out with any of our endeavours, mentioned that if we can get her to the Gold Coast they could arrange a photo with the team on the way to and from the match, travelling on the team bus etc

I have been put in contact with Ian Coutts who has been advised of our endeavours. We were congratulated on a very thoughtful initiative.

Looks like it - I'll get in touch with Ian today and try and arrange a time to sit down and discuss all the possibilities. I think the main thing before taking the next step is to get in contact with the family and decide what we are actually able to do.

Keep coming through with ideas/suggestions and expressions of interest in participating.

Hey all,

Just wanted to give you an update on this situation. Heard back from Ian Coutts today and he will be in touch with me early next week to set up a time to sit down and discuss all the possibilities. Mentioned bringing in some other people as well.

If anyone has ideas that they want suggested or just wanting to express an interest or desire to help - please let me know. Would be good if I could have an idea of how many people are willing to support this cause before the meeting.

Thanks guys.
